The one at the top is distracting? If anyone wants to contribute to the site without spending a dime, please click on a few of the ads (even if just to open a new browser window or tab to go somewhere else, it gives the site revenue to operate), as it stands, I'm paying out of pocket for all of this

Wow, really? I'll spend the next 10 minutes earning you some money since I don't have the means to donate. In a few years when I'm in college, I'll donate a little but that's a long time from now. 50-100 dollars (sorry, I'll be poor and cheap then) is in your future! (haha). If its not private, could you maybe give specifics about how much it cost and ways to donate. While I won't be able to for a while, it might help pay the site bills if you advertised the cost and asked for donations. Letting people know that simply clicking the adds brings in money could help you out a lot. |

The easiest way to donate is through Paypal, there's a little box on the left side on the Portal page that lets you do it pretty quickly and easily. Anything will help, whether it's just clicks on the ads or donations through Paypal. Let's say the cost of time and money is a handful of pizzas per month

How much for 1 ad click? Because then you could advertise from a: Did you know if about a quarter of the members (the ones that post) click an ad a day, it'll raise _____ to help run the site. You know, that kind of angle. I just clicked one. |

They won't need to be told, they'll see how many clicks occurred. I can't donate at this age, but I'm clicking like crazy. By the way, I finally got that arrange mode page and also guide started. The guide is no where near approaching done as it only has its intro but the wiki page is closish to being finished and should be done tonight/tomorrow. |

Don't worry about clicking them 10-20 times a day, after a while I think Google senses abuse. A few clicks a day by the majority of the board will be all I would ask, if it's not too much. |

it's typically like that... 10,000 clicks or 100,000 views for a 10$ deposit into your account. It varies on the company. |
