This is my school log, updated daily-ish

Wednesday 9/2/15

My schedule FYI

1st 8:00 - 9:25 - M/W/F Minicourse, Trivial Pursuits, Burkhalter. It's basically a minicourse over quiz bowl. If you don't know what that is it's like Jeopardy without the what is (A minicourse is a course you choose every 9 weeks that you attend on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.) :D

T/T Homeroom, Archer :x

NOTE: All courses are PreAp/GT

2nd 9:30 - 10:15 - US History with Mr. Hernandez 8)
3rd 10:20 - 11:05 - Intermediate Tenor/Bass Choir with Mrs. Tuneburg. :o
4th 11:10 - 11:55 - Language Art with Mrs. Burkhalter :D
5th 12:00 - 12:30 - Algebra with Mrs. Goodin :|
Lunch 12:30 - 1:00 - Lunch, with me :D
5th 1:00 - 1:30 - Algebra with Mrs. Goodin :|
6th 1:35 - 2:20 - Symphonic Orchestra with Mrs. McCoy and Mrs. Styskel :D
7th 2:25 - 3:10 - Science with Mrs. Archer :x

Wednesday 9/2/15

Last night I stayed up late doing a FFL draft with my cousins in Minnesota, so I was pretty drained. In the Trivial Pursuit's minicourse we continued doing our 32 famous books, authors, and synopsis'. I've managed to get 26 or so done which is better than most.

In 3rd period choir, Mrs. Tuneburg pulled me aside and asked what my 6th period was (Symphony Orchesta) She said that she wanted to put me in advanced Tenor/Bass but my schedule conflicted, so she said she'd make me a "leader" of the Intermediate choir.

In science w/ Mrs. Archer she assigned everyone a threatened or endangered Texas species. My group got the Rio Grande Darter, of which there is no information at all on the internet. I've searched for an hour for it's food source and all I got was that it is an invertivore.

Thats's all I have to say about that.

Please delete your post in the cartoon thread. It has no purpose in there.

THURSDAY

I found information about the Rio Grande Darter and finished the project! I also was complemented in orchestra practice because I was the only one to play the ending correctly.

FRIDAY

Today laptops and tablets were deployed, and I was the 1st in the whole school to get it. After setup we had 15 minute classes which was awesome and basically nobody assigned homework over the weekend! Tommorow I'm going to an Astros Game.

Tuesday

In orchadorkestra we had our 2nd Memorized Region test, and half the classes absolutely tanked it. 1/3 Didn't memorize it 1/ Couldn't bow it right for Bill Gate's net worth, and the other 1/3 actually played decently.

Wednesday

I made a T-Shirt today for the quiz bowl team, and now it's up to the principal to decide which shirt is chosen, Mallory, Jack, or mine. In Social studies we had normal Colonial text anaysis. At the end of class Mr. Hernandez called on Ryan, who never pays attention. He asked Ryan what our homework was, and Ryan just sat there blankly for 2 minutes after the bell until someone whisper it into his ear. I also got my Region test back, an 89, 1 point short of acceptable (You need a 90 on every test in orchestra). I'm going in tomorrow afternoon to re-take it.

That's kinda unfair. So anything below an A is unacceptable?

Ehh, it makes sense for orchestra. Like, if you only hit 90% of the notes, you kinda blow

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P

Thursday
My Viola lessons got cancelled today because of the school fundraiser. The guy just gives out money and tells people to sell his boxes of Cherrydale Chocolates. Every year the 6th graders do it, half of the 7th graders, and 0 8th graders. After school my mom an dI went to choir parent night which went well.

Friday
Today I got a 100 on my Social Studies pop quiz over the colonies and their founders. The lowest score was a 10, by Will H. I also had an algebra test which my grade is yet to be determined. At the end of the week I have an A in all classes.

I hate pop quizzes. One time my teacher gave us a blank map of the U.S. and we had to identify the states. I aced it, along with most of the people in the class, but the kid next to me bombed it.

He listed Boston where Wisconsin should be.

Saturday

I went to a musicians event with all of the Choir, Orchestra, and Band members. Unfortunately it was at a skating rink. I have never tried before in my life. I tried skating, went 20 yards and fell on my butt 4 times, and I still feel the effects. Luckily none of the girls were watching.

Monday

Curse your predictions cause now we have to make a map in minicourse, this is my Matt forte. In science we're making a newscast about feral pigs, so yay.
