Good that you know. Xander called the number, but Natalie was in the Study Session and the call didn't go through. The next day was rainy, and baseball practice was cancelled. Xander sat down to take the Math test in the last period. He breezed through it, getting a 100. During cancelled practiced, the team sat in the gym and did nothing. A new kid, Franklin Turbig, came up to Xander and asked if he wanted to go to the vending machine and get a snack. A. yes B. no C. who are you D. only if you're paying |

Will end up better than not doing HW at all ------------------------------------- Xander sat and stared at the ceiling until he realized it was 11 PM. "Holy crap," he said as he remembered he had a boatload of HW to do. He then remembered that he had left his HW at school. He was in some deep horse shit. What do you do, Xander? A. Break into school and get the HW B. Get to school early and do the HW C. Do the HW in Study Hall tomorrow D. TELL YOUR PARENTS |

Xander sprang out of bed at 5:30 and got to school by 6:00, two hours before class started. He was able to get his homework done in time before school. That day at practice was the final intra-squad game, where the coach would decide who made the Varsity and JV Teams. The coach gave Xander the start in center field, batting second. The first batter of the game walked after a 9 pitch battle. Xander stood in and took ball one in the dirt, which hopped away from the catcher, allowing the runner to advance to second. The next pitch was in for a strike, but the runner took off for third, and the catcher's throw went into left field. The left fielder has a good arm, and the runner is fast. It was going to be a close play at the plate. Xander, do you: A. Tell the runner to hold B. Tell the runner to go C. Make odd gesticulations D. Knock the catcher out of the way |

Xander waved the runner around, but he was out at home on a close play. Xander later singled in the at bat and stole second. In the next at bat, the first pitch bounced in front of the catcher and skipped to the backstop. The catcher has a good arm, but third base looked promising. Xander, do you: A. Go for third consciously B. Hold and play it safe C. JUST PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN AND RUN D. Go back to first like Jean Segura |
