One of the most underrated cartoons IMO, hilarious and worth watching

oooh man Duckman was good

back in the golden age, before South Park, before Family Guy, when adult cartoons was good Simpsons episodes (occasionally). Beavis and Butthead had run their course, Ren and Stimpy was long dead after recycling the same 10 episodes endlessly…I was 14 and Duckman was the thing.

anywho right now I'm watching twin peaks which is an excellent, excellent show. haven't had the chance to watch many movies in the past couple months with school starting Etc but, in recent times;

some short film called trains are for dreaming: Beautiful
buffalo '66: loved it, although I absolutely 100% understand why a lot of people hate it. it's really self-centered but it's an interesting character study imo and the visual style is unparalleled, and endlessly interesting. vincent gallo is a *(censored)* douche though
stranger than paradise: another film whose style I fell in love with from the first couple frames. the plot is literally people talking in a room, people driving, repeat three or four times, and then it ends. but the dialogue is excellent, and like I said earlier it oozes style and attitude. Very Good
the last picture show: one of the saddest things I've ever seen, and possibly the most utterly hopeless. basically about a group of 1950s teenagers who have nothing to live for so they harass other kids and have meaningless sex. very, very good
mind game: aesthetically repulsive and a waste of two hours. was expecting it to at the very least be interesting, but it was mindless trash masquerading as "Experimental" "Surrealism". very poor
spring breakers: excellent, misunderstood film that I've commented on here before
river's edge: Ya Dumb Fawwwwks. crispin glover is so bad in this that it completely turns the corner and becomes a transcendent performance. otherwise, a very haunting (based-on-a-true-)story about a teenager who kills his girlfriend, and whose friends don't really do anything about it. morally intriguing
the night of the hunter: '50s thriller that's centered a lot on religion -- very tense, Overall Great

Mac I just recently watched Short Term 12 and i think you would love it if you haven't seen it already. on netflix.

Fargo (Season 2 Episode1)

Season one of Fargo was quite amazing and season 2 looks to be entertaining as hell judging from the first episode. Good to see it hasn't gone down the same road as True Detective.


also, i love The Usual Suspects

saw short term 12 awhile back -- thought it was good if not a bit faceless and unoriginal / does nothing to stand out, really. AGAIN though. I liked it a good deal.
