Recently (well not recently, really the past 6 months or so), the forum has a lot of post, but not a lot of users who are doing the posting. It's kind of fallen on a handful of users. Should we try to advertise Power Pros a little? I don't mean actually paying for advertisements, but little things. Like someone who has experince with graphic design could create a banner for the site that people could put in their sigs on other sites. It could say something like: "MLBPP World-The largest collection of information and guides for Power Pros" And then list several features, including a wiki with x amount of pages, x amount of users, and something along the lines of if you have a question it will usually be answered immediatly within the hour (or day). I know this is very basic, but it could net the site a few more users.

Muahuahuaha we're so evil. The only problem is that this is the only site I'm on.

I've tried that. My cousins still don't want it, 2 kids from school still don't want it, and the 2 kids I've gotten to like it have no PS2 or Wii.

It would be a good idea but if we just got people to post that are here then we'd have alot of posts

But some people just join for the extra forums and then they don't post which is kind of stupid if you ask me

Well if all you want is to get help on the game or download some players then you don't need to post. The only reason you would need to post is if there was a question you had that wasn't answered anywhere on the forum.

You are absolutely right. The handful (although getting bigger) should be advertising Power Pros, even just a little bit. And no, it shouldn't be to show to 2K that they should release 09 but just to get more traffic to the site. They might be able to come up with new ideas to keep the "veterans" (for a lack of a better term) on the site to keep playing Power Pros. It doesn't matter if just a couple banners is basic, we have to start somewhere and I think that a banner would be the perfect way to start. Then we could slowly work our way up to more advanced methods. Continually gathering new members.

Considering the only 15 or so that regularly visit the site, one should expect us all to be pretty close to. We are a community so I don't really know but maybe we should all get to know eachother a little bit more. I'm not talking about you know name, age, address, etc. But more like interests and stuff like that.

I don't wanna be a jerk, but we could mention a small japanese section for those who play the import versions, That way it could go global, and everyones covered plus fans can see the roots of OUR GAME. If we could get an english speaking japanese fellow who could translate the slang and puns. Just throwing this out there.

alanwong, the guy who posted the updates of the Japanese PP series could do it, but I don't want to place the burden on him. My Japanese Coach (DS game) has a small English-Japanese dictionary in the game. I could try that.

That'd be great. It would really help in basic gameplay.

That's a good idea. Although I don't know many japanese people for that matter, it might be hard to do that. Of course, I don't know if you guys know anyone. Jacobye is on a good track, if we could just learn basic Japanese it might be able to help us translate. A true Japanese speaker would be the best option.

The sigs are the best answer if anyone else goes on other forums.
