Anyone find Gyroball yet in Success mode? I know it was incredibly rare on MLBPP2K7, but I wonder if they removed it for MLBPP2K8. |

I think if you go by similarities in the girls from this year and last year, I would think Emily and Patty can give Gyroball, and Lucy gives intimidator. |

Emily gives "Battler" - Pitches full of fighting spirit! (I've yet to figure out what this does) I also think I got quick release with Emily's "start dating" event. I also know that Emily has to give different abilities to fielders, this is just what happens for a pitcher. |

I think battler shows your guy sweating when he is only a few pitches away from panting, but not when he would have just started sweating |

I don't think so. I think it affects the pitches themselves. |

I got the tough runner ability after Marvin and I went to the baseball game. I chose to step out of the way and my guy was hit by the ball instead. |

For those who play a pitcher and S/L, try for the Dr. K ability from SoP. It's insane how many strikeouts you get. |

Its the Secrets of Pitching, SoP for short. It can teach many pitching abilities. Such as Dr.K, Safe Pitch, Gd Delivery, etc. |

Getting Good delivery and Dr. K together will dramatically increase the number of strike outs you throw. |

I just beat the game. Even the last one and got Lucy's ending and she gave me spray hitter and contact hitter. WHERE IN THE HECK IS MY INTIMIDATOR??? Her meter was completely full. Is there something I did wrong? Has anyone actually got intimidator yet? If I can't get it, my Patrick is going to be ruined.

Last year with Becky she didn't always give you intimidator so maybe it is the same this year. Try reloading a few times. |
