I definitely got it the first (and only) time I beat the game with the Lucy ending.

what does intimidator do anyways? i have it halfway filled up in my life but never got it in success

It makes the pitchers nervous, so they dont pitch as well to you, and i think the guy that bats before you too. Also, you start some abilities with the bar half filled up, and some not.

I think I remember seeing the description someone got from a kapanese message board and I'm pretty sure it made the pitchers pitches less effective.

Note that Pitchers can get Intimidator as well, and it has the same effect on batters. (IIRC)

I reset a couple of times now,(starting from the beginning of season 2 and simulating all the way to the end), and still no intimidator.

I didn't get her a present on christmas, but she still let me date her so that shouldn't matter. I beat every game one time, and I've lost the last one a couple of times but I always get the same ending, receiving contact hitter and spray hitter only.

Can anyone else confirm on how they got this?

I've reloaded about ten times and can NOT get Intimidator.

I might just give Patrick Power hitter instead because I already spent too much time to throw him away.

I dated Lucy 1000 times and couldn't get a special Re to happen. I won all the games. I did everything I possibly could. I don't think this is how you get Intimidator.

And yet I have a pitcher who received Intimidator from her. I dunno, maybe there's some sort of random seed that isn't being reset? I have no clue.

The only thing I can think of is Christmas, when I met her but I didn't have a gift. I didn't reload because it seemed as though it didn't do anything negative to me, and I already had her level about to the max.

What does it say when you get Intimidator?

Is it the same thing where you go through the whole marriage dialog and the look at some scouting report that reveals your weaknesses?

I found two methods of either getting Gd. Sense, or removing Poor Sense.


Sittch's Tree Cloth training has a very slight possibility of giving you good sense. I was amazed when I got it last night, and the Pitcher I created with it is amazing.

Completing Frank's storyline is guaranteed to improve your baseball sense (IIRC).

I did get her the Christmas present, but the ending wasn't any different, it was the same marriage dialog.

After completing Emily's romance, my findings:

If you're a pitcher, she gives you "Battler".

If you're a fielder (regardless of position), she gives "Spider Catch". Note that I already have Pivot (I was a 3B), so this may be just a replacement ability.
