When does she actually give you the abilities, and how do you trigger it?

Yeah if she is a special person you will have an event after you play the GS along wihtt he other characters summaries.

Yes at the very end after you get accepted into the majors. You need maxed likability and need to have had the event were she has a catch with you at the park and need to tell her how you really feel
