Hmm, I realize now it's kind of worthless to have a Fork upgraded with a slight rise eh

Would be cool to have a rising Forkball like underhand girls' softball games

probably wouldnt be a particularly manly pitch, and would probably be picked on in the club house

Quick q. How do you know if you rolled a genius? My CF was a genius at the end of Success, but that's cause you see all his stat when you port him to MLB Life. Does it tell you "Genius" on the personal stats just like Good Sense and all the other abilities?

Also, I noted one thing. While trying unsuccessfully to roll a pitcher with Gd Sense to start with, I found out that every time I start with high stats, I get Poor Sense. Also, every time I get Good Sense, it comes with one or more problems (toothache, laziness, insomnia, etc...). Trying to roll a "Genius" Good Sense pitcher with no issues is pretty impossible, at least with my luck.

you can tell its a genius by the stats he started with, for a fielder its all F's or higher with gd sense and no negatives, and for pitchers its 80+ mph,F or higher for control, and E or higher for stamina, and a lvl 1 and 2 breaking ball.

Awesome, thank you! Going to finish off my current pitcher who's playing the last game in Success mode and then will try again. It really hurts not having Good Sense in the beginning since the only way I know of getting it is through Frank and you don't get it until AAA. That's a LOT of points lost.

For a pitcher, gd sense is a big plus as it is easier to raise both control and stamina, important for any kind of pitcher, but pr sense can be ok for a fielder because if youre not making a big power hitter, you can save turns from less gambling needed to raise the gamble stats up

I thought I might have gotten a genius when I was making David Price, but he had poor sense, but I kept it and still got his stats where I wanted them to be. It is much harder to do stamina and control if your character has poor sense but I still got them to be good.

Kind of on topic, has anyone figured out the odds for Geniuses as compared to plain old Good Sense?

Did I get an answer for this, and miss it?
