Season preview The Falcons will begin their journey as an expansion team on April 2nd, but it'll be one of the first expansion teams to compete. As far as the draft went, we got young players like Jacobs, Loney and a superstar in Hanley Ramirez. Although the lineup is still not known, they know which players they have and they know that they're going to perform. As for pitching, they are one of the more dominant pitching teams out there. Led by Halladay, Oswalt and Meche, they will have an unbelievable three combo, not to mention Wakefield and talented flame-thrower Edison Volquez. As for the bullpen they're great, led by Nathan they have just about every player from Shields to Lyons that can be a closer. We are expecting a fun season and go Falcons! |

Halladay dominant, Falcons win on walk-off Today was an old-fashioned pitching duel as Nolasko faced off against Halladay, Nolasco went 6 shutout innings while Halladay threw all 9 and struck out a fascinating 18 k's. The score was 0-0 til the 9th when with 2 outs, Lidge on the mound, runners on 2nd and 3rd with feliz up, Feliz came through with a single into center to score Jacobs and gove the Falcons their first franchise win. |

Wow, what a way to start the season! too bad i can't play wii, my sis has been playing animal crossing for 2.5 hours now (she's 10) |

O my older sister is playing AC too, but I let her play it cause its fun to watch sometimes And it reminds me of my younger sister who plays club penguin for 6 hours straight on the computer, so when something would happen in my log, I would have to wait to write it. |

Eagles sign minor leauge to contract The Eagles have signed young center fielder Alcheves, to a minor leauge deal. He will spend time in AAA and will practice on his hitting, in the offseason with our log-jam of outfielders, we may turn him into an infielder thanks to his good arm. He could replace Feliz at third in a few years. Also I'm thinking of making a sucess mode player, I know I could use all of yours, but all of yours is too good. Well I like good players its just that I don't like using players that hit 60 homers a year and bats .400 |
