You can control your fielding manually even when pitching is auto.

Not sure if you can do shifts though

intrigue,,, not sure i would use it. since it would give an advantage to the team i'm controlling. and i dunno if raising all the CPU difficulties would alter much; i can test that tho

The Rays have won back-to-back World Series titles! A masterful combined start between Smoltz and James tuned the Mets' bats to an almost unnoticed force. Santana pitched his heart out K-ing 13 over 7 frames but unfortunately gave up the only 2 runs in the game. The only scoring came in the first inning when Thomas and Gomes knocked in the two runs (1 each). If the first inning never counted, Santana would've looked like the game's MVP.

Negotiations are done through discord DM's

≤ 3 years MLB exp means only arb year contracts (ex: 390 -> 400 -> 410), or at least attempt to contain it that way
≥ 4 years MLB exp means larger 1 year contracts (410->5000)
≥ 6 years MLB exp mean contracts that can last more than 1 year since game is broken and dumb (at least i think a player needs 6 or more for those contracts to work)
more realistic contract values

Going to wait a day or so to allow people to catch up on this, and i can't guarantee negotiations with the agents to take 5 hours since life gets in the way

Agentp - Edwin Jackson, Joey Votto, Carl Crawford, Shawn Riggans, Elliot Johnson
PP27 - Scott Kazmir, James Shields, Jonny Gomes, Andy Sonnanstine, Gary Glover
Baseballteen9500 - Akinori Iwamura, BJ Upton, Evan Longoria
Prediction - Ben Zobrist

Weird annoying glitch (?), it seems that some players MLB exp clock didn't advance. ex: Kazmir is at 5 years, even though he had 4 before 2008. Meaning that he should be at 6 ('08 & '09).
will either verbally agree with long term contracts or just have to comply with the game.

The Rays have come to terms with 2 players (yes ik i broke my rule but this is mainly for roster depth rather than actually playing them). Mark Sweeney and Mark Prior.

Rays' payroll budget has increased due to team success and inflation: 82500 -> 84000
Ray's payroll/cap - 77580/84000

The Rays fell to the Blue Rays in an extra innings affair. Kazmir and Halladay put on a show to say the least; Crawford is also an honorable mention going 5 for 6 on the day. Kazmir was lifted from the game with arm soreness (not gonna lie, he threw 2 pitches after starting to wipe sweat off his head, so i think that the injury was just random chance). The Rays threatened in the 10th and 11th inning but couldn't pull the trigger. James eventually gave up the 2 winning runs, as BJ Ryan closed out the game for the Jays.

The Rays had a late come back in the works to defeat the Indians 4-2. Pronk (Hafner) was Shields' only kryptonite as he homered in the 1st and drove the other run in during the 6th inning. The Rays had a hit parade in the 7th to plate all 4 of their runs. Garko flirted with the left field foul pole in the 7th and 8th inning but they both hooked foul; he settled for 2 singles instead. The Rays starting staff seems to be the only weak point as of this young season, we will see if they right the ship.

Cueto had a masterful outing but Hughes was better by besting him in an excellent pitcher's duel. The Rays had the bases loaded with no outs in the 6th; back-to-back strikeouts and a weak ground out ended the potential show. The Yankees responded adding the only run of the game the following half inning. Two of the best offenses in the game ended with the lowest possible score.

The end of April has come and the Rays are 1 game below .500 while being in 3rd place in the AL East. We speculate that the team will find its grove eventually as this division has a unique parity to it so far.

The Rays beat the Royals in a high scoring game. Price seemed to be cruising well into the 8th inning when he and Miller gave up an ugly 5 runs. Upton and Longo provided the long ball support by smacking a home run for each of them. The Rays have now managed to sneak into 2nd place in their division.

they usually end up being really effective; like 3 IP, 0 ER with E stamina. meanwhile im tryna make it like real life and only going 1 inning for the E stamina people

The Rays were efficient and effective in beating the Rangers. Miller once again made thing interesting in the 9th inning but kept the lead for the Rays. Upton's solo shot in the 6th inning was a triple-decker and gave the Rays a nice insurance run.
