This is a dumb question considering trades and F/A and everything, but I just figured out, with my current roster, that I lose 680 points each day. So I have to make more than that in a game to make money, which isn't likely. How much do you lose each day with your roster?

well these are my teams

File 1 - Success mode players, <50,000 salary. I don't really lose points.

File 2 - Red Sox, <150,000, Lose about 100-500 points per day

File 3 - <25 year old team, like 1, I dont really lose points.

Get into the playoffs and win the world series; you won't have to worry about anything after that
And by the way both of my teams are super cheap teams (one has a total salary of 18895)

I think my total payroll is somewhere around 77,500 and I seem to lose about 400 points per day. Currently, I'd say I make between 600-800 points per game, so I always end up making money. If I could start over again, though, I'd probably try and reduce my payroll to around the 20,000 mark.

My current payroll is about 135,000 points.

All I know is that is it's under 200 with my expansion team, whos salary is only 20K. My money goes up by about 20-100 each game since my team isn't too good but I manage to get at least 200 points almost each time.

Being on the Yanks, I don't know, but I can gurantee its a hell of a lot. Add that to not realizing that relasing players makes you lose points and over buying in the shop (my first try on 07) and you need the world-series and a few awards to avoid bankruptcy. Fourtenetly I aquired both (and a ton of awards considering it was normal difficulty. I narrowly missed CY Young for Clemens because he had a slightly worse and slightly less Ks then Sabathia).

Yes, the Yankees have a lot of huge contracts. Ha, sucks for you.

In the 08 game when I finally get back home and start playing more then the two hours I have, I will be much more responsible with money and trade away some more expensive players (Giambi). However, I will keep A-rod haha.

I have the Yankees too and I traded away Jeter, Giambi, Matsui, and Damon for some guys that were cheaper with better states forget who though.

I don't actually lose 680 points each day, I get about 500 or 600 from games which means I'm only losing about 100 points each day.

my team commited bankruptcy in 2010 because i had jeter, c. jones, matsuzaka, millwood, r. johnson, etc. so i lost about 1000 each day.

I have a 425,000 payroll and lost about 280 a day and recieved 450 for my Tigers. Then again I got Chipper and Delgado, I traded Guillen and Thames plus Bondo. Man, the Bondo trade was real fun to deal with, effing Dodgers wouldn't let it go.

That's not possible. 425,000 is more than mine and you lose less than me.
