Rich Hill had a no hitter against the Brewers going into the 8th. He had two outs in the inning and 11 strikeouts in the game when Bill Hall hit a solo homer to right field. Oh well, he probably wouldn't have made it all the way anyway because of the way stamina is in this game. |

SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME WITH JOSH BECKETT!!! bottom of the 9th 2 outs, he was DEAD TIRED and he threw a flub fast ball down the center when i threw a curve up top and the other guy hit a homer out of the park |

Ooh, tough. I've never done that before. I've never blown a no hitter or perfect game in the 9th. |

Funny... I got in to the bottom of the 8th last night with Tim Wakefield pitching a perfect game. It was broken up, though, with a screaming line drive double down the first base side--the only hit of the game! Damn! |

I'm convinced the computer increases in difficulty the last AB if you have a pitching gem going. I had a perfect game going to the last out with a 1-1 count and threw a ridiculous slider as far outside of the batter as possible, he smoked it for a double by somehow hitting it from outside the strike zone. It was the relief pitcher with 3 contact too... |

I've had back to back perfect games broken up in the 8th and 9th innings, respectively. I had King Felix (F. Hernandez) and Josh Beckett on the mound. I own with Felix. |

I had a perfect game going into 8 1/3 with my MLB Life pitcher. Gave up a single to J.D. Drew. Finished a complete game 1 hitter with 18 strikeouts. |

I've blown in 3 times in the 9th. Its the stupid message saying you are about to get a no-hitter! You should never mention a no-hitter till its happens!? I know their in Japan, but shoulden't they know this, it's one of the biggest rules in baseball. It always screws up my mentality. |

I totally agree, the first time I was going for a no-hitter, I saw the message. I then got the first two out, and it made me think about the last out. (the #9 hitter hit a single up the middle) In real life, no one talks to him, and the team doesn't have a counter in the dugout. |

Although when everyone is on the other side of the dugout you probably can guess. Unless you had onions last night. |
