I am redoing the way I announced each week so it is in a more organized format and easiar for me to write.
Week 1
Scores for this Week
This week the Yankees are 4 and 1 improving their overall record to 4 and 1.
March 31st, Opening Day:
Yankees 8, Blue Jays 6
Starters: Wang and Halladay
Highlights: Three Run Walk-Off homer in the ninth by Alex Rodriguez.
April 2:
Yankees 2, Blue Jays 1
Starters: Pettite and Burnet.
April 3:
Yankees 7, Blue Jays 2
Starters: Phil Hughes and Marcum
April 4:
Yankees 7, Rays 0
Starters: Mike Mussina and (Kazmir?)
Highlights: Mike Mussina pitched an outstanding shutout with 12 Ks
April 5:
Ray 7, Yankees 2
Starters Kennedy and ?
Highlights: Kennedy was terrible and gave up 7 runs. The Yankees lose their first game
April 6:
Yankees 14, Rays 5
Starters: Joba Chamberlain and ?
Highlights: Chamberlain had a very rocky start and was lucky to give up only a run in the first inning. After that, he completely shut down the Rays and didn't relinquish a hit till the 5th inning. He struck-out the side in the 2nd and 3rd and had 14 ks in 6 innings of work. He had to leave after an apparent injury which turned out to be nothing. Kartsens came in and was terrible in relief giving up 4 runs in 2 innings. Regardless, the Yankees offense was spectacular and scored 14 runs.
Transitions, Injuries and Trades:

The Yankees have recently picked up four relievers to strengthen their bull-pen. They have hired a 26 year old named Chuck James, a 39 year old named Hideo Nomo from Japan, a young man (26) by the name of Enrique Gonzalez, and a man named Fernando Hernandez (24). The Yankees are particularly interested in Hideki Nomo who has become the new long reliever. He has average control, and impressive B stamina, and features a very impressive fork ball. If one were to rank his fork ball on a scale of 1-7, one would call it a 5. He also feautures a sub-par slider and curveball but will almost exclusively use the fork and fast ball. He throws 89 miles and hour and has plenty of experince in Japan. Nomo is very good verse lefties and has a very good delivery. The major problems he faces is his lack of variety when it comes to pitchers, the fact that he walks too many, and his bad poise with runners on base.
Fernando Hernandez, while having a smaller role this year, has a very large amount of potential. While he is currently the mop up man, he has a strong curve ball (4, a level 2 slider, and a level 1 change up. He has low (E) stamina and terrible (G) control, but also throws 90 miles an hour. He has a long way to go, but he could become a very strong reliver in the future.
James is a back-up starter in Triple A with a 91 fast ball, c control, bstamina, and a level 2 slider and changeup. He has life on his fasball, gets a lot of groundballs, is bad against left handed batters (despite being a lefty), and walks a lot. He is a fine fielder and will either be used as a trading chip in the future or will devolop into a reliever.
Finally, Gonzalez has a 95 mile fast bal, a level 3 change, a level 2 curve ball, and a level 2 slider. He has f control and e stamina. He has no abilities. Gonzalez has a good deal of potential and the Yankees will most likely keep him. He is currently working on his breaking balls, but once he devolops them a little bit more he should be major league ready. His control also needs improvement.
Injuries:

Fortunately there have been no injuries this month.
Trades:
Carl Pavano and Jason Giambi have been traded for a heft pile of cash from the royals. They have earn 3,000,000 and there salary is now 17 million instead of 20.5 million.
The Yankees are currently looking into Rays outfielders Baldelli, Upton, and Crawford as well as Jose Guillen of the Royals.
MLB/AAA switch info:

AAA-MLB
Nomo
F. Hernandex
Lou Gherig
Kartsens (Middle reliver with Hawkins)
Blazin' Hot (set up man)
Traber (Lefty)
Pavano (swing man)

Only today, usually not. I was bored and wrote this whole thing. I'm regretting it now. It will be in a similar simplified format. No, make that very simplified format . However, every month I will have the full long format. I will normally just show the scores of the week, trades injuries and transitions, and the A.L. East (and these in less detail). It still looks pretty cool though. Monthly reports will be much quicker next time as all I need to do is fill in the blanks.

Week 2
Scores for this Week
This week the Yankees are 3 and 2 improving their overall record to 8 and 3.
April 7th:
Yankees 9, Royals 8
Starters: Wang and -----
Highlights: Unlike Wang's previous fantastic start, Wang was broken early and had a terrible game. He pitched only 5 innings and gave up a career high of 7 runs/ Fourtenetly, the Yanks were able to pick him up and catch up they scored 2 in the third, 3 in the fifth, and 2 in the 7th. The bullpen was fantastic for the Yankees beginning with a very solid performance by Hideo Nomo for 1 inning and Hawkins for 2.1+ innings. Then came Blazin' Hot who pitched tremendously. He came in with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out in the 9th. He did not let a single runner on in that inning nor for the next 2 innings (surprisingly with no strikeouts). In the top of the twelth, cabrera hit a double. Damon knocked in a run to give the Yanks a 8-7 lead and Jeter got the final double to bring in Damon. Mariano came in and gave up a suprising home run but was solid afterwards for the save.

April 8th:
Yankees 2, Royals 1
Starters: Pettite and ----
April 9th:
Yankees 5, Royals 2
Starters: Phil Hughes and Marcum
Highlights: 6 solid innings of 2 run ball for Hughes, the Yanks win the series
April 10th:
Yankees 3, Rangers 4
Starters: Mike Mussina and (---)
Highlights: Mike Mussina pitched a semi-quality start giving up 3 runs in 6 innings (I don't count that as quality, its a 4.5 average era). He left with a tied game and Hawkins got the lost in the seventh.
April 11th:
Yankees 1, Rangers 0
Starters Kennedy and ?
Highlights: Kennedy made up for his last start and pitched 8 fantastic innings. He gave up plenty of hits but no rungs.
Transitions, Injuries and Trades:
Apparently there has been some discussion with the Royals for a possible another trade
Injuries:
Fortunately
Trades:
Apparently there has been some discussion with the Royals for a another possible trade but nothing has been disclosed.
