10000 is overpaying for Beckett, he has walk so usual that makes him alot worse but what do I know anyways?

The 5 players I'm interested in signing here are:

Josh Beckett
Aaron Cook
A.J. Pierzynski
Freddy Sanchez
Austin Kearns

Sanchez is really good, you'll definitely want to sign him if he isn't too expensive.

Pierzynski is debatable. He has the Trash Talk ability, but he's not that great of a hitter. It all depends upon how much he wants (and how many teams are interested. If no teams are interested, offer him 750 over 3 years, and you should be able to sign him)

Unless you can get him for under 1000, I would recommend not getting Kearns. You can trade for a better outfielder like Hunter Pence or Andre Ethier or Jose Guillen or Jayson Werth. You could also sign another guy and convert him to OF. (Same goes for catcher)

And the great thing is, I'm uber rich. My total salary is 119,080, which will be lowered significantly when I trade Jeter away, and I have 351,966 owner points.

Whoa. I quit without saving then came back, and now it's different. Now Beckett wants 9090 for 5 years and Cook wants 7610 for one year.

My lineup for the end of last year once I got Jeter was:

1. LF Alfonso Soriano
2. SS Derek Jeter
3. 1B Derrek Lee
4. 3B Aramis Ramirez
5. RF Kosuke Fukudome
6. 2B Mark DeRosa
7. C Geovany Soto
8. CF Matt Kemp

if anything you'd need to aprove Center Field but Kemp is servicable

What about your rotation and bullpen

Trade Jeter for Hanley (may take a few reloads). Then, move Hanley to first and Lee (or whoever has the best defensive stats in your infield) to SS.
Sign Freddy Sanchez.
Trade Mark DeRosa and as much money as necessary for Jose Guillen or Hunter Pence (Your pick).
Move Fukudome to CF.
