It appears two more teams are joining the MLB this year. The Portland PowerPros are entering in the AL East and the Tennessee Gunmen are in the AL West, how will these new teams fare? Professional gamblers are betting on the gunmen finishing 4th and the powerpros finishing 5th.

Powerpros get first victory against the yankees.

In their first game, the starter went 5.2 innings allowing two runs. A 4 run seventh lead them to a 4-2 win. Osoria picked up the save and Buchanan had the win.

On a side note, the gunmen lost their debut 5-1 against the athletics.

They're all randomized people. My best hitter's name is Fikac. I'm going to sign some created players as the year goes on. I can't fire my players if I never gave them a chance to screw up. Although the center fielder did make an error that could've cost us the game, if he didn't drive in one of the runs I would already be considering firing him.

Oh, your roster's full? I did the same thing for a reliver (my old closer) so my team (who plays in coors field, why the hell I chose that I don't know) wouldn't give up 10 runs a game (as well as score that, literally that was our average). I just took out the worst player ability wise who was already in the majors and probably wouldn't be too good.
By the way, I'm a much better pitcher now, I had just starter Power Pros for the first time in months and I was playing with the second highest level (all-star I believe) for the first week. Now I don't score as many (around 6-7 on average with an above average team) and I give up way less (3-4 on average). Still too easy. I can't wait for the hall-of-famer team to make things harder for me, that way I can still make my success mode players as good as I can.

The yankees already have a 6-0 lead in game 2.

You can't win them all, especially with an expansion team playing the best team in Power Pros (not life, they aren't the best right now). And trust me, once you get into the third month and if you are winning them all, you'll wish you weren't. I think the game got harder now as when I go back to last years on Powerful, I still win 90% while on this years I win something like 60-70. That's much better.
Any other guys you want for your team? I might tweak them a bit so that I can use them also, but I'm still happy to help. Any other players from me your using also haha.

I'll think about if I need more players. Players I created myself my outfield is pretty well locked up except maybe left. I may need middle infielders later though. It's 6-4 now though. A Derek Jeter error on a double play ball was followed by a 3 run homer.

Giving updated every game let alone every inning will be too much after a week, I bet. What inning?

I don't plan on always doing that. It was about the 4th or 5th. Game's over and we lost 15-11. We had 3 errors, Hideki Matsui drove in 4 runs and A-Rod had 2 home runs. McDaniel (Catcher) allowed 2 stolen bases, throwing the ball into center field on one of them.

PowerPros sign new Catcher: Actvitty!

McDaniel was good enough to make it into the MLB, but he's not good enough to lead a team full of rookies. He had a bad throwing arm and made stupid pitch decisions. Actvitty is expected to start from now on if there are no injuries. He'll hit second in the lineup, when he's hitting that is.
He has a history of slumping in the minors. Even when he slumps, his defense still excels, but you might want to have a pinch hitter ready.

I also plan on simming the majority of games. I hat losing a game that I played. If I simmed it, who cares?

Its a lot tougher, but I don't mind it in the long run. Here's what I suggest, play most of the game and if your losing by a lot, sim it. Or, play the first/last 3 innings and sim the rest. I did that for almost every game and since I played everyone last year, I got a big reward in the shop that I could buy. Look at the shop items and how you gain them in the wiki, a lot need you to play every game.

But if I play games I rarely lose because I end up turning my lock-on higher if I'm losing late.

1 out away from a shutout. Zhao gives up back-to-back home runs. Pitching 8.2 innings allowing 2 runs for a 10-2 win.

But I don't wanna! :(

The Red Sox have declined to sell Hideki Okajima to the PowerPros for 9306 points.

When asked what he would likely try to get next, the PP GM replied with, "I could use some power, only 3 home runs in 6 games."

After winning 4 in a row I turned the difficulty up a bit.

Current record: 5-1
1st in AL East
Tied with 4 other teams for 1st in MLB

Gunmen Record:1-5

After increasing the difficulty I won 3-2. I like close games better. I will be signing Bullet soon.

PowerPros Sign Bullet and Flores

They're both success characters, Bullet costs over 12000 and Flores costs a bit under 1500, they're both great players, Flores is a starter that I signed because of his 207 stamina. My starters barely qualify for wins because they can't go long enough.

Flores dominated the yankees in a 10-1 victory walking none and striking out 14. I'm setting my lock-on down to 1 now, I'm not setting their batting higher because it's rare for me to pitch with such a good pitcher at the time.

Swept the yankees and bought Okajima

The PowerPros have swept the yankees with a 5-1 win, that extends the win streak to 7 games. Some say they're just lucky, but the manager says they owe it all to Actvitty's leadership.

In a trade that shocked Red Sox nation, they have sold Okajima to the PowerPros for an even 10000 points. The powerpros are headed to fenway next for a 3 game series, will they use their new weapon? And if so, how will he fare? Only time will tell.
