Yikes, he cost that much? God, I'm scared about how much my other playes will cost. I thought rookies were cheap, I didn't want the Yanks again haha.

PowerPros Win Series Opener

In an exciting game, Okajima proved to be a worthwhile investment, pitching 3 shutout innings, striking out 5, and only giving 1 lineout (to himself). Wakefield was masterful too as he went 10+ innings allowing 3 runs. Papelbon came in in the 11th to blow the save as Cosme drove in the winning run, Bullet got the save and that was that. Once again the manager is thanking Actvitty for it, he did throw out 2 base stealers in important situations, and get 3 hits to motivate the offense, but other than that, he did nothing! A Manny Ramirez home run gave them the lead 2-1 but they blew it anyway. Wakefield didn't get any outs without the knuckleball, and he had 30 outs.

Wow wakefield! Very nice game, glad bullet didn't blow the save too haha.

Never really thought about it, but it would be funny to have two blown saves in one game

I also forgot to mention how we hit into 6 double plays.

*Sighs* 10th consecutive win. Lately the games have been going the same. Close game until we score a lot of runs in the 7th and 8th.

If you want to mix things up, resist the urge to change the lock-on and raise the level, it gets way too easy soon.

I haven't done that in 8 games. If I changed the lock-on do you think I would be complaining about scoring too many runs late?

Haha, just guessing, never mind. I occasionally cheat as well with that haha.

I'm guessing these things aren't very popular anymore. Seeing as you're the only one to comment so far.

Is best try an upgrade or downgrade from lock on 1? I just won 8-5 against the blue jays and Bullet had another save.
Actvitty extended his streak by throwing out Eckstein and Wells making it 14 runners he's thrown out without a successful steal.

I added a poll for when I get to the world series. I shouldn't with my team but I will because of my sheer awesomeness

That's my youtube channel. You can demo any of my playthroughs to see if you would want my voice to do commentary on it or nor.

I was going to give updates less frequently to get there faster but this was a great game.

PowerPros (Finally) Win!

It was a great game with little offense, Halladay lasted 15 shutout innings. But in the bottom of the 17th, Actvitty struck, a hit down the left field line should have been a single, but he took the risk and slid in barely safe at second, after that, Ficak had a weak hit up the middle, Wells' throw was a bit off and the game was over, the celebrating lasted until 3:00 AM, well... the game only ended at 2:45 anyway.

Actvitty threw out 2 to extend the streak to 16.

Shouldn't it be vice versa? Gunmen in the East and the PowerPros in the West?

Sure, the Detroit Red Wings are in the West. But that's a different sport and a whole different story as well.

Just some error I noticed, lol. No hard feelings.

*Shrugs*

I don't get it.

Oh and something I forgot. If I do the videos of the game with or without commentary, it would be shown "live" (me recording it while I'm playing) so even without commentary there may still be some frustrated groans or something.
