All right, so it's my dream drafted rays vs. a very strong mariners team.
Leading 8-3 after 5, we bring in chris ray, who promptly lets 5 runs score in the next two innings to tie the game.
then hikaru shindo, my created closer, blows a chance in the 9th, giving up 2 runs on a RBI double, then comitting an error that brings in another.
Bottom of the 9th, my team up to bat, rich harden pitching.
pierzynski hits a single.
taveras smacks his 2nd triple to bring A.J. in, 11-9.
Pence hits a double to bring in Taveras, its 11-10.
Harden is taken out for JC Romero, Dan Uggla steps up.
First pitch is a changeup, high and in the middle.
Uggla swings and connects, Pence is off and running.
It clears the fence for a Walk-off 2-R HR.

Uhh...that's not really an "epic" finish. You controlled the pitcher, and you blew it. You were winning by five, and won. It's not really that epic, but still.

About the Chris RAY joke, it's about the only player that will work. If you meet a guy named Billy Pirate or John Red Sox, tell him I said hello.

He hit .327 one year. That's pretty good for a backup catcher.

Agreed. However, you could find someone who's ancestors were pirates. Someone who wears red sox, a person whio lives in pilly, yankees are actually a term for northerns, meaning north of about maryland, etc. so you could find people. You jsut have to look and think.

There are lot of angels, white sock wearers, Carl Husta whose nickname was Sox,Tiger King and several players who had the nickname tiger,Indian Bob Johnson, a few royals, some big leaguers surely were twins, Yank Robinson and Yank Terry, countless Jays and rays, rockys, and Johnny Podres,Conrad Cardinal, red is common, and there are a few brewers, Cub Stricker,Marlin Stuart, Dave Philley, and Joe Nations.

Whew that took a while.

There are some people in Denver with the last name Steeler, and some people in Pittsburgh with the surname Bronco. Man, the AFC Championship Game in 06 must have been painful!

Yeah, thanks.
I don't play on easy, btw.
I don't suck. Otherwise this topic wouldn't exist, and we wouldn't be talking about this. :owned:

I didn't say you were bad. I said that you were just blowing it, and you won. You were winning by a lot, but you began to mess up, but you still won. Just a thought.
