Can you only buy season points in the shop before you start the season or can I purchase them a month and a half into the season? I have the money, just didn't want to waste it if I'm not going to get the points since the season has started ... anyone have some insight on this one?

THANKS

Nope, the points won't be added in a continuing season. Once you start a new season game you'll be given the option to do add the bonus points.

Nope
You can buy it anytime you want to
What CaptainMooncat said was that you can't have the extra points if you have the season already started
It will be added once you start a new season, this is optional of course

I have this same question - when you say "start a new season" do you mean like start a completely new season profile, or would you get the points during the offseason for an existing season (ie between years 1 &2)?

thats really bizarre how are you supposed to then buy the bigger packages - since you can't get the bigger bonus without buying the small one first ... so my current team is out of luck to get the financial boost for the next 9 years!?! :(

My suggestion is that you do some exhibition, or success to start with bonuses.. Otherwise you'll be stuck with where you are

Well, there's a way to get out of it
Win the world series!!
It'll get you 50k owner points! It should be enough, unless you're with the Yankees
