Cardinals, Falcons complete blockbuster Today the Falcons have made an unexpected move that brings Brian Roberts over to Hawaii for Joe Nathan, David Murphy and Jack Hannahan. Roberts had a break-out year but hitting .308 with 15 homeruns and 78 RBI's for St Louis. Nathan struggled at the end and in counting his last regular season game, he was 2-6 in his last 6 save opportunities. Murphy was not expected to be traded as Willits was thought to be the outfielder to leave but St Louis wanted Murphy instead. Hannahan had some huge homeruns for the Falcons and will be remembered for his defense and mostly for his walf-odd homer to bring the Falcons to the postseason. French will likely be put into bench role and will practice more infield positions over spring training as Alcheves could be slotted into center field |

wow, that's a pretty good trade. Roberts is a perennial all-star who will steal 30+ bases a year. |

I have a hole at closer now Mark Lowe, Sherrill, Lyon and Lidge are people who can close I think I'll give it to Lidge, at least until Lowe gets his control up to F or E |

NICE OFFSEASON! I would put Hart @ set-up man, though. especially with those breaking balls. |
