ReLink Scandal This is one wild ride. Andrew ReLink certaintly knows how to how hide money. The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) has checked every bank account in his name where the money could have possibly gone. Untraceable. They can't find it. One-hundred million dollars, gone. "I'm dissapointed," Grady Little said. "I wish I was able to get that money back, then I could afford my team." Sadly, Little doesn't have that money. He probably never will even see it again. "It is frustrating." Zimmer said on Little's behalf. "We could have more aggresively pursued people like Teixeira and co., if we had this money." A team that already suffers from small-market syndrome losing over one-hundred million dollars is huge. However, Mr. ReLink continues to defend himself through various lawyers. Speaking of Mr. ReLink, no one knows where he is. "It's a mystery," Little said, "If I knew where he was, he would be dead." Of course death threats don't help Little's case, but I'd want to kill this guy, too if I lost that kind of money in this economy. However, Bud Selig continues to remain tight lipped about "alledged" meetings he's having with Pirates Owner, Grady Little. One can only wonder what they're about and why they're meeting so privately. |

Breaking News: Pirates See New Ownership In the midst of one of the worst financial scandals in the sports' world, the Pirates see a new owner. Grady Little, former Owner, was meeting with several candidates. He received high bids, low bids, moderate bids, but then he received the perfect bid - one-hundred, twenty million and fifteen thousand dollars from Bud Selig. Selig will no longer be the Commissioner of Baseball. Instead, there was an election called last night. Grady Little was elected Commissioner of Baseball, by all current owners, but the Red Socks and Tampa Bay Rays. "I think owning this team will do me wonders," Selig stated. "I can turn it around, easily. We'll be a winning team once I get rid of the people who do not need to be here." Selig, of course, is talking about the older members of the team who aren't doing any good. To give you a general idea of Selig, he was a minority owner of the Brewers before, but now he'll be a total owner in one of baseball's best franchises right now. Little, is moving onto bigger and better things, as he becomes Commissioner of Baseball. He probably won't do much, and no one will care, however Red Socks fans and management are raging over the move. However, a question poses Bucs' fans... how in the world did Selig come up with one-hundred, twenty million and fifteen thousand dollars. That's pretty much the amount that was stolen from the Pirates' mid last year... |

yeah, but one complaint... selig would have to be a complete idiot to pay that exact amount of money to buy the pirates. |
