1.) Sanchez will be brought up once a starter really struggles and I think I need to raise his stamina a little bit more

2.) I edited Cantu to play 3rd and I gave him D contact, A power and 3 trajectory so theres no problem there, and I want to make this like the real Marlins Franchise as in, never trade Hanley Ramirez and maybe in a few years I'll some big trades like the Zimmerman one but those trades won't happen til after '09 'cause I'm trying to make the '08 and '09 lineup like it was in real life

3.) I'm not much of a s/l guy

Oh, OK, never mind, didn't know that you edited him.

In my Marlins franchise I just registered ZackAttack to play third base. :D

And in my mind at least Anibal can pitch all nine; that may just be my pitching style though (I am a very efficient pitcher) The guy pitched two perfect games in a row in my Marlins franchise. :D total dominance

4.) I'm aiming for 1000 posts before this month is over(which is today)
So that would mean that I had 1000 + posts this month
add that one to " You know you play too much power pros when thread "

And some of the reason my guys don't go all nine is 'cause I let up so many bloop singles that kill me

You should see me when I do a franchise. I just totally tear up the roster. As you can tell, I'm a very bottom-line type of GM. :D

so what about that Hermida-for-Hunter Pence trade?

I would also try to get a better catcher (unless you have edited them)
Chris Snyder (you know you love him :) ) and Ronny Paulino (Pirates) are my favorite catchers (in MLBPP)

I try not tearing up the rosters unless I do dream draft
Baker can handle himself, he had a good season for the marlins in real life
And yes I love Snydy, him, Zimmerman, Jacobs, Zadan, McMillan and Alcheves will go in my franchise logs hall of fame. thats alot of players :D

If you're trying to limit your salary, do what I did. I traded away half of my points at the beginning of the season to cap me off at 43k.

For me, at least, I just HAVE to make trades. Trade after trade after trade. To me, if I don't trade, then what's the point of doing a franchise?

That's just the way I look at it.

Anyway, can't you at least trade Hermida for Hunter Pence? :D He's not a star player, anyway

I think my player's salaries are small so I'm good for now, once players get into contract time(which is alot this year) there will need to be trades like their were in the real Marlins Franchise. Like for instance, Kevin Gregg for Kevin Hart or Mike Jacobs for Nunez
The Hart for Gregg one didn't happen though, it was gregg for Ceda but Ceda's not in the game soooo

And to Longball: you will see a fair wave of trades in '10 and beyond. And it depends on how Pence and Hermida are doing at the time

Well, I'm just lucky I don't have so many outfielders like in power pros '07 where they had Borchard, Reed, De Aza, Abercrombie, Ross, Hermida, Amezaga, Willingham and probably others. When I played them I never knew who was in the outfield

Is draft day coming up soon? Until then (and after that until the postseason) I'll just wait... and wait...
But when we get to the postseason this thread will go from like 6 pages to 16 :D
