I won game 3 on a thriller
With 2 outs and a runner on, down by 2. Baker hit his first career homer to tie it and uggla finished it on a homerun to left. All of this off Denny Bautista

April 12- Fish, Tigers make minor swap
The Marlins made a minor 3 player trade to send catcher Matt Treanor and 30-year old right-handed Justin Miller to the Tigers in exchange for Left-handed Clay Rapada and 5500 points. The Marlins wanted to go for a pitcher they felt like they could fix as Clay has only 1 control point. Miller was not in the teams plans and didn't think they needed Treanor with Baker already a started.

Rabelo called up from AAA
Switch hitting catcher Mike Rabelo will get a chance to back up Bajer in the bigs. He was called up today to make room for Matt Treanor who was traded to the Tigers earlier today

Lindstrom put on DL with elbow pains
Fireballer Matt Lindstrom will get put on the 15-day DL with elbow pains. He was taken out of a Nationals game after he felt discomfort in his right elbow. He has a 3.50 ERA this season and it is not yet certain who will replace him. The injury is projected to take 13 days.

Woo-Hoo 1000th post!!!!!!
And I'm sure glad the sites working again

What's your salary looking at, and what players are you scouting (constantly checking on)?

Noone in particular
If I'm gonna get a player it would have to be for defense 'cause my infielders defense is terrible!

To replace Lindstrom on the roster, the Marlins called up pitcher Doug Waechter. Also Owens has side pains and is projected to come back in 3 days. The Marlins are 6-6 after getting swept by Houston. They will go home to play the Braves then after will play the Nats, Pirates, Braves again, Brewers and the Dodgers to finish off the month

Nah, you're fine. Your owner points are what you shouldn't go over. Though, of course, if you have too many, try not to go over 150k++ salary. That's usually when I get hit with the luxury tax.

Uggla named Player of the Week
Second basmen Dan Uggla was named April 14-20 player of the week. He hit .542 with 3 homers and 8 rbis. Other winners were Mark DeRosa, John Buck and Jason Jennings.

Pinto sent to AAA, Tankersley recalled
The Marlins have made another move to send down struggling Renyel Pinto to AAA while calling up Taylor Tankersly. Pinto struggled mightily as he gave up 8 runs in 5.1 IP which led to a 13.5 ERA and an 0-2 record. This move was made after Pinto gave up a key three-run shot to Austin Kearns that led to a 7-5 loss over Washington. The Fish will next go to Pittsburg to take on the suprising Pirates who have an 11-7 record

Lindstroms back and he's gonna close. Gregg has a 9.00 ERA. He's my mop-up man now

I guess Manny ended up taking Roids and killed himself like Chris Benoit did. :(

:D
I'm actually one of the few Red Sox fans that still likes Manny, I don't like the crap he gave to our organization, but I will miss his Manny moments

But anyways, I am desperate for infield defense, with Uggla batting near .400 and Hanley is not going anywhere, they're not gona get traded. Jacobs needs to stay with me because of my history from him. And that leaves Cantu, hes having an average season with .262 average and 4 homeruns. So does anyone have suggestions for a 3B with 390-2000 salary thats good

And to Longball- I thought about the Hermida and Pence trade but that'd be terrible for me. Hermida is batting .350 with 4 homeruns, and Pence is batting .230 with 3 homeruns
