This is my first log on this forum. I'll probably start tonight or tomorrow morning. I hope you like what I did. I'll post lineups and rotation later. I think this'll be a great team with a 90000 ($900,000) point salary

i think you mean $90,000,000 (that's more realistic)
is it regular expansion team or dream draft?

RIVERDOGS WIN OVER NEW EXPANSION TEAM ML VIKINGS 2-1

RICHMOND, VA: The Riverdogs won today over the newly opened other expansion team, the Minnesota ML Vikings, by a final score of 2-1 in front of many fans at GoldenApples stadium. In the top of the 2nd inning, the Vikings' Richie Sexon launched a HR into the cheap seats in left to put the Vikes up 1-0. In the bottom of that inning, however, with two men on and one out, Lyle Borkowski nudged one into Right-Center to bring in RoadRunner and dishnetkid to make it 2-1. The scoring would end there, and Roy Oswalt and Lyle Borkowski recieved the players of the game.

Top Performer-Roy Oswalt: 9 IP, 1 run, 10 K, 1.10 ERA

I downloaded a few of them, for instance, RoadRunner from Cownip, and Percy from Mr. Welz. The players I created myself are, for instance, dishnetkid, Austin Hoffman, and Chad Tomato.

RICHMOND WINS ON DISHNETKID HOMER

RICHMOND, VA: Another win is in the books for the 'Dogs. A bloop double for one of the Vikings batters drove in the first run of the game, 1-0. That would be led by 3 runs for the 'Dogs in the bottom of the inning, the last two runs being scored on a dishnetkid big fly to win it 3-1. He also got the player of the game.

I'm going to be simulating most of it, so I'll be back later with more on the team.

RIVERDOGS 10-5, T-1 WITH EDMONTON OILRESERVE

Richmond, VA: The riverdogs started 5-0, but have now tailed off, now at 10-5 on the year. Their next series is a 3-gamer against the aforementioned Oil Reserve. Will have more later.

Oil Reserve.

Why is HENRY BLANCO batting 5th? Here's my suggestion:

1. RoadRunner
2. Hank Blalock/Hunter Pence/Dishnetkid
3. Carlos Lee
4. Ryan Howard
5. Hank Blalock/Hunter Pence/Dishnetkid
6. Hank Blalock/Hunter Pence/Dishnetkid
7. (I don't know what Borkowski's stats are)
8. Henry Blanco

I'll try to get the rosters fixed in a way that you said, Longball. I'm probably going to start a couple of games today, but I'm currently working on a success character, so it'll take me a little bit. I'll do about all 3 of the games with the oil reserve and see what happens from there.

Also, an inbox is opening to ask questions about the Riverdogs or anything else in the league, so PM me with your questions and I will post them. I'll need at least 5 to start.

RIVERDOGS LOSE 2 OF 3 TO OIL RESERVE

Edmonton, AL, CA: The 'Dogs move down to second place in the Central, losing 2 of 3 to Edmonton. The first game was between Apple4960 and IANSP. It was a 13-inning marathon that lasted 4 and a quarter hours (I simmed til top of 9th). The winning run was scored off a hit by dishnetkid to win the game, 2-0. World Wide Web got the win, while LaTroy Hawkins got the loss, and Jonathan Papelbon got the save. The last two games were heartbreakers, and to relieve fans of their misery, we won't show the scores. The next series to end out the month are 3 against the Mets, and 7 against the Vikings.

The mailbag is officialy open, by the way. PM me your questions about the 'Dogs, the league or anyhting in general.
