It's dream draft (like the 'Stros), and it's the Giants.
I'll start it now...

Nice.
Anyways, started it.
Sorry, already in the game (lol, read the update).
Good luck with your test.
Speaking of, one of my vocabulary words for a test was penance, and the only reason I knew it was because of Joey's miniarc. Hooray for video games!

Memphis Eagles Top 5 Propects to watch

Number 5- J.C Clement: Catcher: L/R
Clement is a power hitting catching prospects in the AAA Memphis affiltration. He is a guy who will strike out alot but can provide homeruns when need. He's an average catcher and is right now overshadowed by a few catcher, still interesting to watch
E contact, B power, 3 trj, E run speed, D fld, D arm str, Clutch hit 2, Firstball HTR

Number 4- Lance Niekro: Pitcher/First Baseman: S/R
Niekro is the only prospect in this organization that has had MLB time. Once a promising 1st baseman, he is trying to make a comeback as a knuckleballer. The 28 year old could see time this year.
E contact, C power, 3 trj, gd pinch htr, E control, C stamina, 3 knuckle, 1 crv, Vs lefty 4

Number 3- Greg Snow: Shortstop: S/R
Greg Snow is an intesting player with alot of skills and abilites. He a great well rounded shortstop and is only 18. Being 18, he has alot of years ahead of him and doesn't have to be in the majors for a few years. It is thought that he'll learn some more positions in the future to make him a utility man
D con, D pow, C run spd, D fld, D er res, 2 trj, tough out, First ball HTR, GD B2B Htr, Table setter, Hot hitter, Stealing 4, Baserunning 4, Durability 2

Number 2- P.J Tolls: Right fielder: R/L
Tolls at 23 years old is the elder among the top 5 prospects. He is the usual leadoff type hitter with good speed, being able to steal, and being a real contact hitter. With Garcia struggling and Bellhon not used to right field(C), they could move Bellhon to left and make Tolls their right fielder.
C contact, E power, B run speed,2 trj,D arm str, D fld, Firstball HTR, Stealing 4

Number 1- Tim Stoffer: Catcher: L/R
The number one prospect in AAA, and maybe in the majors, is Catcher Tim Stoffer. Stoffer is a great all-around player and at the age of 18, can become the best catchers in the majors. Watch out because he could be in the lineup as early as next year.
B contact, C power, 2 trj, B run speed, C arm str, C fld, C er res, Contact hitter, good bunt, table setter, hot hitter, firstball hitter, stealing 4, Gd catcher, consistency 4

Month in Review

This month saw the Eagles stumble out of the game to see them finish 15-13 this month. The Eagles were able to get plenty of offense but were inconsistent with pitcher. Almost everyone in the bullpen has a high ERA but it has still managed to win some games. Shurhoff won relief pitcher of the month for being 9 for 10 in save oppurtunities with a 1.93 ERA. Nixon and Valdez pitched well as Nixon went 3-0 and Valdez was 4-0 with a 2.22 ERA.

Division Leaders

AL East: T-Yankees and Red Sox

AL Central: T-White Sox and Royals

AL West: Angels

NL East: Mets

NL Central: Cardinals

NL West: Padres

May 8- Eagles sign three to AAA contracts

The Eagles sign three free agents in Brandon Jackson, Rheal Johnson and Joel Hayes. Jackson is by far the most talented of the three and he has never gotten a chance in the big leauges and will get a chance at 31 years old. Jackson has a chance to get spell Garcia in left field as Garcia is only batting .238. Hayes is the oldest of the three at 33 years old and is running out of time to establish himself as a major leauge player. Hayes main talent comes as a gold glove first baseman with a below average bat and can find his way into the lineup through a trade. Johnson is the youngest and is a left-handed reliever who is a much needed AAA lefty who can be called up in case of injury. In other news, the Eagles have called up RHP Lance Niekro and optioned Grant Bell(6.36 ERA) to AAA.
