I get: Sabbathia (5600 points)
Braves get: Andy Pettite (17600 points)

I'm mid way through the 2009 season and Andy Pettitte appeared to be done. His abilities were still good, but he had lost his velocity. Fastball topping out at 86 MPH and he was getting hit hard every outing. It cost me 17600 points to re-sign him at the start of the year.

I decided it was time to move him. I always try to make an effort to trade for "real" Yankees so the natural choice was to go after Sabbathia who I wasn't able to sign as a free agent. Plus both are lefty's so I wouldn't end up being down a southpaw.

The Braves accepted this (2 star) trade straight up with no cash involved. Plus, CC is signed for 5 years and by the end of his contract Andy will be long retired.

Best trade I ever made, hands down.

you just saved yourself a pantload of salary.
speaking of aweosme trades saving salary...

I get:
Brian McCann
Matt Kemp
Chris Young (pitcher)

They get:
Bengie Molina
Bill Hall
Mark Mulder
38383 P

Chris Young's salary is about 5000, while Molina's is 5500, Hall's is 6000, and Mulder's is 6500 (maybe 7000, not sure)
I'm the Giants, salary was 81000, now it's right around 70000, which is the limit.

"I accept that other people have different preferences. Even when those preferences include facial tattoos and stretch pants constructed from sufficient material to shelter a small village. And their livestock. Some men enjoy dancing with other men without their tops on while others prefer the company of a woman two KFC family buckets away from upsetting the planet's rotational axis."
