Baker's my new 6th starter, actually.
And I've been exploring more trades now, of course... (Check the other topic I created for that trade in a sec)

The Giants, after last night's 16-1 win, are now 2-1.

Notes:
-In his first at-bat this season, David Murphy lined the Doug Davis offering right past the left fielder for an RBI double that started the 6-run 2nd inning.
-Prince Fielder hit 3 homers last night.
-Matt Kemp went 6-6 yesterday, with 1 single, 3 doubles and 2 triples. He missed hitting for the cycle by a home run.

Scott Baker pitches 8 2/3 innings of 4 hit ball, left of arm pain.
Schoenweis closed out the 22-0 blowout.

Prince Fielder had 2 more HRs, making it 5 in 2 games.
The following players hit homers (# of HRs in parentheses):
Jorge Cantu (2)
Matt Kemp (3)
Ryan Braun (3)
Hanley Ramirez (1)
David Wright (4!)
Giants are 3-1, they lead the division.

Sorry for double post, but...

"A BLOCKBUSTER TRADE HAS BEEN APPROVED BETWEEN THE GIANTS AND TWINS" (and the Giants didn't get blown out on this trade! [That trade was Francisco Liriano, Boof Bonser, and Joe Nathan for A.J. Pierzynski, who spent one season with the Giants])

Twins get:
Mark Buehrle
Aaron Miles
Prince Fielder

Giants get:
Albert Pujols
Ted Lilly (He shares my birthday! )
Nick Swisher
7979 P

Both sides of fans are not sure what to think of this trade, but the consensus is that the Twins got robbed.
All the Giants' previous trades that both got them better starters and cleared over 20000 total salary (including the one that put them over by 12000) prepared them for something like this.

Said Pujols, "Wow. I was just getting used to Minneapolis, you know? But at least I can get better weather, dome or not, in San Francisco." He said that last sentence with a smile and a bit of a chuckle. "But you know what? I'm just going to help my new team, plain and simple. I'm not going to go and make any World Series guarantees or anything, but we have the talent and the youth to get up to the top and stay there for at least a decade."

Close game, 4-1.
Weird moment.
Hamels facing Joe Crede, count is 1-2 (Crede is a righty)
I throw a curveball (breaks towards him) in the very lower left corner, at his foot.
he swings and misses for strike three, inning over!

woohoo, another robbery, this time of the rangers:
I get:
Jason Bay
Armado Galarraga (C CTRL, A STAM, H-SLD 4, CHG/CB/SIFB 2, Groundball P)
Jeremy Accardo

They get:
Ted Lilly
Ryan Braun (surprisingly hard to deal away, same goes for Pence.)
Kevin Correia

Wow, was searching transactions when I saw possibly the worst trade I have ever seen, CPU or not.

White Sox get:
Greg Aquino
Jorge Sosa
Pedro Feliciano

Rangers get:
Chad Morton (C, stats are FFFDE)

absolutely retarded.
those 3 pitchers are all MLB worthy (though Aquino is borderline), Morton is barely AAA worthy.

Hanley Ramirez hit for the cycle in a 20-2 win today.
The Giants improve their record to 23-11, and Nick Swisher hit 2 HRs.
