Series of Blockbusters get Mets Ready for 2008

The New York Mets have acquired Andre Ethier, Ian Kinsler and Adrian Gonzalez. For Ethier the Mets gave up Marlon Anderson and Brian Schneider. For Kinsler the Mets gave up Damion Easley and Ramon Martinez. For Gonzalez the Mets gave up Carlos Delgado. They are ready for the 2008 Season according to their General Manager.

"We are ready. We will go out and conquer!" LaTroy told the press this afternoon. "Not one team in the entire National League is capable of destroying us... we are the team to beat!"

The Mets are set to take on the Florida Marlins and Ricky Nolasco tonight. Johan Santana will be starting for them.

Do you have speed @ C, too? I would suggest using one of my players if you can. His name is Tomakito Ishii, he's good at catcher, has B Run speed, and is very good with the bat. Here's the link if you want to try to see if you'd like him or not:

are you sure you want Kinsler's 220000 salary? Might be better to trade him for Orlando Hudson or Dustin Pedroia or something.

I'm a New York team. In New York, they're kings of overpaying players and keeping them.
