You just got to get the right players at the right time. I have a speedy Outfield, since the Mendenhals play in Panpaka park, which can cover a lot of ground. In that OF, we have Enrico Santiago, who is one of Alloutwar's players on the Charlotte Chargers, who is great at D, but not a good bat.

Also, once April is done, we will hold a press conference with GM McCoy Benson. Feel free to send in questions when April is done!

More from Chapter 3! Chapter 3 will also include the Press conference, so pm me in your questions, please!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that point the Mendenhals had a big game against the Marlins, in which starter David Price gave up 7 runs in 1.1 innings of work, but the Mendenhals came back, sparked by Enrico Santiago’s 6-6 day, and won 12-9, with Ozzi Osbourne getting his first career save.
At the end of that game, David Price was sent down to AAA after posting a 37.8 ERA, calling up Michael Finegan, a starter in his place. At the end of april for Finegan, he went 1-1 with a 5.63 ERA.
Overall, the Mendenhals April was, in the mind of Becky Fox, “Wonderful, and I hope we can continue this into May. Benson and Clapton have been doing a great job running the team, and we will catch up to the SaltPepper, and claim the division by the end of August."
The Mendenhals went 18-10 in the month of April, and Enrico Santiago got a Player of the Month Award for April for hitting 4 home runs, and he’s usually a light hitter, while the overall leader in pitchers ERA was Joel Zumaya, with a 0.81 ERA, and surprisingly, Tom [2] got 2 HRs, even with below-average power.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stats from April coming up next post!

The stats the team put up don't like a 18-10 record but that's still impressive

And is Mark Sweeney pkaying third because he's a 1B who throws lefty, unless you have Mike Sweeney

Press Conference from Chapter 3! (Will update as more questions come in; please send more!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A press conference with McCoy Benson was also that day, and there were a lot of questions about the team.
The first question came from gocubs of the Chicago Tribune. He asked, “Do you think your team can hold on enough to be .500, or make the Playoffs?”
Benson replied with,”I think we can stay above .500, but our bats need to get going a little more. We are 2 games back of the SLC SaltPepper, so it will be a challenge, trying to be first place after a hot April. As for the playoffs, I don't really know if we can make it. All I'm saying is that we are going to have a winning season under Mr. Clapton, and that we will see what goes on from there.”
The next question came from PowerPro Jr from the Right Fielder’s club news. He asked, “Can you get a better closer than Ozzi Osbourne?”
Benson replied with, “No, he’s one of our best pitchers right now, despite the ERA, and the save percentage. I feel he’s one of the best closers in baseball right now.”
And with that, the press conference was over.

Our divison looks like this (I'll get the others in ASAIC)

Name W-L W% GB
SaltPepper 20-8 .714 --
Mendenhals 18-10 .643 2.0
Rays 12-16 .429 8.0
Dodgers 10-18 .357 10.0

Also, thanks for the compliment.

Few Questions here :)

1) Why do you play in Las Vagas, yet you are in the AL East? I know you moved the teams around, but???
2) Are you going to add more dept into your bullpen?
3) Outside of Verlander and Tolar, is your rotation a bit shaky?

The dodgers in the AL east..........lol

What are the other teams in other leagues. Are the pirates still in the central? are then in at all?

This so so very interesting.

chee: I've been jumping between different games lately (Wii Sports, TPIR) so It'll be a little while before I post the divisions.

M_a_L: 1) We do play in Vancouver, and I know I'm in the AL East, but I like experimenting with different options with things, so it'll be weird.
2)Yes, I might, I might import a guy like Felix Skalski into the bullpen, maybe even some of my other beastly relievers that I've made, so yes, I will do that.
3)Our rotation is a bit shaky, but I think we can resolve it throughout May, maybe adding some guys like Chip Dorito or maybe calling up a few people from AAA to help out. I'll see what I can do.
