Any comments before I continue?
I'm definitely not getting as much attention as Jacob or DrMario...

NORFOLK HAWKS: WE KNOW DRAMA

by Wyatt Hewitt
Senior Sports Correspondent
Norfolk, Va.

The Norfolk Hawks have started 5-1, but they could easily be 3-3 or 2-4. This is easily epitomized by the previous two games, one against the Cleveland Indians and one against the Twins of Minnesota. Against the Indians, they fought back from a 4-1 deficit in the 7th to win 6-4 (no walk-off hits required, though). Next game, they go out and are leading comfortably at 4-1, and Alexandro Ramirez is cruising. He tires all of a sudden, though, and after the 7th it's a 4-3 with Lee Swan coming in to get the last out of the inning. After a sacrifice squeeze by Andy Wallace turns into a double play to end the inning, Brian Fuentes comes on. Things get dicey when runners go on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs, but he strikes Justin Morneau out to end the inning. Pika Choo comes on and gets the save (his 4th of the season already!) shortly afterward.
Delmon Young nearly got ejected for arguing what would be Ramirez's only strikeout, a called strike in the middle but low.

I will start simming games now that I've played one with each starter.
Any suggestions would be fantastic, as long as they're serious.

I think that you should sim a month then check update us on how they're doing
Make sure to update on important days like the all-star game, voting, your division, draft and etc

And one tip is to put other players in the lineup that r on the bench and then play them for a few days and then put the normal lineup back, I just do that to see who's strugglig and who's not because it's tough to decide on starters on for an expansion team

true...

SO MUCH FOR 5-1
by Wyatt Hewitt
Senior Sports Correspondent
Norfolk, Va.

Well, at least they're not like the Vipers. After a 5-1 start, the Hawks finish April at 13-15, and 4th in the ultra-tight AL Central (standings below). Nobody has really started well, with the sole exception being Will Clark, the third baseman.
This Rookie of the Month is batting .364 with 25 RBI's and 10 homers, good for second in the majors behind Big Papi.
The rest of the team is slumping though, and Pika Choo only has 1 more save after the first week (making 5 total).
We'll just see what happens in May...

Royals 17-11
Indians 16-12
Tigers 16-12
White Sox 14-14
HAWKS 13-15
Twins 12-16.

Oh, and by the way, the Vipers are 2-27  .

The Norfolk Hawks are apparently in deep trade talks with the Miilwaukee Brewers, as well as the Vancouver Vipers...

More tomorrow! (I've had golf camp this week, but I have a 8:00 tee time for the tournament today (no camp afterwards).
It's at the First Tee (kid's course), wish me luck!
I won't win, but I might get 2nd!

 ooookay then...

anyways, the Hawks were 3 games under .500 after May, with the acquisition of Mike Cameron, JJ Hardy and Ben Sheets for Mike DiFelice, Javier Fernandez and Brady Clark. They traded with the Vipers later for some pitching, including this beast:
CTRL E
STAM B
91 mph
CUT 3
KNCB 2
CB 3
FORK 4
Throwing 4

Anyways, they started June 1-6, and were nearly in last place in the division.
Suddenly, they go on a tear, and finish the rest of June 14-5, and are over .500 by a couple games as we continue...

I need help deciding if this trade will ruin the fairness of everything. I'll put a poll up for the trade:

I get:
Papi (BAFEE, Intimidator)
Lester
Ellsbury (DCBCA)
12385 P

They get:
Dan Binar (FFEDD)
James (SLD now 4)
Helton (RUN SPD now D)

By the way, I finished 3rd in the tournament, and got a cool little sleeve thingy with 3 pockets...
It seemed every putt I had was a 50-footer, and I got every putt close, but couldn't make any.
I even lipped out (around the hole) on the 8th hole to cause what was technically a four-putt. If I putted better, I woulda gotten second. I did pretty well though.

Well if you're below .500 I see no problem with that trade, you'll cut salary too.
