Stranglers Win Second Straight World Series

Azul Abuela pitched supurosingly dominant today shutting the Rays out once again. Scott Kazmir pitched okay, but in the end he just didn't get any runs.

Chris Kennedy got things rolling with a solo homer in the first making the score 1-0. The next inning, John Lennon reached with a single and Mick Jagger followed with a double making it 2-0.

The Stranglers added on another run of insurance when Lennon got a base knock again and this time Reginald McLeary followed with an RBI double.

Azul Abuela pitched nine shut out innings while giving up six hits and striking out 14. He got Mark Reynolds to ground out to shortstop to end the game.

The Beard is intimidating

It certainly can be at times. Put him and Chris Perez (who I consider to be the Brian Wilson of the AL) on the same team, and they will be dominant...except against the Tigers.

Sgt. Pepper was talking with someone in his office.

Paul: What do you guys think they're talking about?

Mick: Probably a lawyer talking about his will. He needs to die sometime, right?

Brian: Call me crazy, but he doesn't look like a lawyer to me. More like a government official.

Pablo: Brian, you don't need to tell us to call you crazy. We already do, like, all the time.

Mark: Hold on there, Pabs. Brian may be onto something. Remember when we were celebrating the championship a few days ago?

Flashback

Mick: Hey, Pepps! Why do we need to go to Las Vegas for a casino? We have one in our own stadium.

Pepper: Shut up! I need Mark, Pablo, Azul, and Kennedy. The rest of you, back to the hotel rooms and start packing! As soon as I get back we're leaving for Scranton!

The teammates he named followed him out of the casino. As you would expect, the other players did not listen to him and stayed hit the town.

It was midnight when Pepper and the boys got to their destination in Peppers 1951 Ford.

Chris: Um, sir, if you don't mind me asking-

Sgt. Pepper: Shut up! Chances are I will mind you asking. Mark!

Mark: Sir, yes, sir!

Pepper: Mark, I need you to ask your bionic arm where the time rifter is.

Mark: A time rifter? What in the hell is that?

Pepper: Just say it!

Mark: Jorkins, you heard the man! DO what he says!

Jorkins: Time rifter located in center of building.

Pepper: I thought so. Follow me, but first get dressed.

Chris: What?! Black spandex? I think your dry cleaning got mixed up with Catwoman's.

Pepper: That's strike two. You don't want to know what strike three is like.

Chris: What?! What was strike one.

Pepper: Everyone starts with one strike. I'm just that good of a pitcher.

The others shivered.

Pepper: I already knocked out every security system in place with hacking, martial arts and knock out gas. You guys have an easy job. Get the time rifter.

They went in.

Azul: This is Area 51! I must go find the Lost Ark of the Covenant!

Chris: From Indiana Jones? You do know he is a fictional character.

But Azul was already off.

Chris: Oh, well. Did we really need him anyway?

Pablo: I guess not, but this is the first time he is defying Pepper. He could get lost.

Jorkins: Don't worry, I have a tracker on the whole team.

Chris: That is creepy.

They each had to use their own abilities to get the Time Rifter. Pablo was the secret weapon, Mark had a bionic arm, and Kennedy was the strongest, tallest, and second most athletic of the three. Pablo being a tad more athletic. But there was one obstacle. The person who had the DNA test had blue hair and an anklet.

Mark: So that is what we needed him for. Jorkins, make Azul come back here.

Jorkins sent out a signal and in five seconds the Blue Grandmother was back.

Pablo: Uh, where did you get the fedora, and whip?

Azul: From Harrison Ford's house of course!

Chris: Whoah. Who knew that Azul was a creepy fan boy.

They opened the door and saw two things, the Ark and the Time Rifter.

Azul: THE ARK! I've found it! My shrine to George Lucas films will soon be complete. I just need a lock of Mark Hammil's hair and concept art of Jar-Jar Binks! Yes!

They heard a man yelling it was Pepper.

Pepper: IF YOU EVEN THINK OF NOT BRINGING THAT TIME RIFTER BACK I WILL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!

They took the time rifter and ran like hell.

They drove back to the casino as the sun was rising. There was a fire spreading across all of Las Vegas with the other players laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world.

Back to the future

WildThing: Oh, yeah. That was the night I got married and divorced three times. My wife still doesn't know.

John: The best part is, they still don't know it was us!

They all cracked up.

Manager's Office

Pepper: So you can fix the machine?

Man: Dr. Smile could fix that in his sleep. Yes, Dr. Smile will do his very best.

Pepper: Perfect.

Dr. Smile: Oh, but one more thing. Dr. Smile must have something in return. Yes, or else Dr. Smile may not keep quiet.

Pepper: What do you want.

Dr. Smile: Simple, Dr. Smile wants a job on this team.

Pepper: Can you stop speaking in the third person.

Dr. Smile: Dr. Smile knows not what you are talking about.

Pepper: *(censored)*.

Hilarious update, as always.

So...Dr. Smile...hmm...sounds suspicious.

Thank you, dish. Yeah, Dr. Smile will have a big role next season as will the reporters.
