Stranglers Are Going to the Fall Classic!

The Stranglers won by a score of 5-1 again today. Brown pitched dominantly and threw a complete game. Jeff Suppan pitched and... That's really all I have to say about his performance. He pitched today. If you can call it that...

The Stranglers got to Suppan in the first inning with a homer from Keith Richards making it 1-0. The Stranglers struck again in he fourth with singles from Mick Jagger and John Lennon. George Harrison singled sending in Jagger makin it 2-0. Pablo Sanchez the. Doubled sending both Harrison and Lennon home making it 4-0.

The Brewers have proved this series that they really rely on the long ball when Braun got their only run with a solo shot.

Ringo Starr doubled in he ninth and Howard drove him in with a single making it 5-1 Stranglers.

Charlie Brown finished off his 10 strikeout performance in the ninth and wrapping the series up for the Stranglers.

WP: Charlie Brown
LP: Jeff Suppan
MVP: Charlie Brown

Good ol' 2009.

I will update this tonight. The Rays have taken down the mighty Yankees and will take on the Scranton Stranglers.

Also I would like to add in player updates and even get the spin-off up and running again, but I feel I should just steamroll through this series and get to the crossover.

Stranglers Shut Out Rays 5-0

The Stranglers took game one of this series as Paul McCartney out pitched Edwin Jackson. By a lot.

Scoring started in the second inning when John Lennon reached base with a single. Keith Richards drew a walk from the ever wild Edwin Jackson. George Harrison hit an RBI single and made it 1-0.

In the next inning Pablo Sanchez hit a single, stole second and then got to third with a hit from Ringo Starr. Kennedy then laid down a suicide squeeze and Sanchez scored.

In the seventh inning the Stranglers finished the Rays off. Sanchezz, Starr and Kennedy hit back-to back-to back home runs. This made the game 5-0.

Paul McCartney finished off his three hit shutout with his thirteenth strikeout in the ninth.

WP: Paul McCartney
LP: Edwin Jackson
MVP: Pablo Sanchez

Stranglers Shut Out Rays Again; Series Shifts to Tampa

Wow. This pitching staff. With McCartney and Darvish right now it just seems like, "anything you can do, I can do better." Darvish pitched a complete game shut out with two hits and whiffed 18 Rays! Matt Garza and Jason Hammel split the job for the Rays today. Garza gave up five runs in as many innings pitched while Hammel gave up the last two runs.

The Stranglers jumped out to a comfortable five run lead in the first. With runners on the corners, Kennedy hit a single making it 1-0. Howard followed with a single of his own scorin Starr and making it 2-0. Another one bagged from Jagger made it 3-0. Two batters later, Harrison knocked both Lennon and Jagger in to make the game 5-0.

In the seventh inning, Kennedy hit a triple with Sanchez on first. Nagger drive Kennedy home and that was all the scoring for the day.

WP: Yu Darvish
LP: Matt Garza
MVP: Kennedy/Darvish

Stranglers Take 3-0 Lead, But Give Up First Two Runs of the Series

Scranton took acommanding 3-0 series lead over the Rays with a solid outing from Charlie Brown.

In the first inning, Pabs led off with a double. Ringo advanced him to third with a single and Kennedy followed with a double. Driving in two.

Reginald McLeary reached on a screaming liner past Carlos Pena. McLeary stole second, putting him in a position to score on a Samchez single. 3-0 Scranton. Keith Richards drove in Sanchez with a single of his own.

Sir Reginald McLeary drew a walk and reached second on a wild pitch, magically appearing three quarters of the way to second as soon as Dionner Navarro couldn't stop the ball. Weird. Ringo Starr drove McLeary in making it 5-0.

Charlie Brown made a very blockhead move in he ninth, though. He gave up a two run homer to B.J. Upton. This allowed a real live relief pitcher to actually pitch. Even if it was only for four pitches and one third of an inning, Brian Wilson still got the save.

WP: Charlie Brown
LP: Andy Sonnanstine
SV: Brian Wilson
MVP: Kennedy

Time for a sweep! I wonder which game the Knights went to, though.

Thy thought they were going to a 2016 game. That was before the time rift. My update in the crossover will be a prequel to Tweav's explaining how all that funky shit went down.
