We can thank the sim feature for that one, and it's also my fault for keeping Soria in the game too long. I can tell you it probably won't happen too many more times this series or playoffs in general, lol.

(1-1) Eagles vs Indians (1-1): ALCS Game 3

The Indians now had the homefield advantage. And unsurprisingly, Progressive Field wasn't very frightful for the visiting Eagles. By the end of the 2nd, they had jumped to a whopping 8-0 lead. Another Carter 2-run homer and a solo shot from Longoria put them ahead 3-0 by the bottom of the 1st, and then a Zimmerman dinger started off the 2nd. Michael Saunders followed with a single and one out later, back-to-back doubles by Manny Machado and Dustin Ackley scored yet another run. Pence popped out but Blake Carter smashed his second 2-run homer in two innings. Joe Smith had to stop the bleeding much like Game 1 and David Huff departed with his team left in a large hole. The Indians climbed back in it with a three-run inning in the third. They cut it down a little further in the fifth with two more runs but the Eagles put in the dagger with an extra run via a Machado HR in the 7th. It would stay 9-5 as Glen Perkins threw three shutout innings of relief to pick up the save.

(2-1) Eagles vs Indians (1-2): ALCS Game 4

Already down 1-2, Cleveland could not afford to lose Game 4 and inch closer to elimination. They sent Roberto Hernandez (1-0, 9.00, 3 K) to the mound to try and stave off a 1-3 disadvantage. Many were left in awe as Hernandez defied expectations, although his counterpart Felix Hernandez (1-0, 3.00) would not be outdone. Hunter Pence doubled home Manny Machado in the 2nd to give NJ a 1-0 lead that they ran away with. King Felix allowed just four hits in a dominant outing, leaving runners on base on a few occasions. Both Hernandezes went all 9 innings and yet the former Fausto Carmona had no run support behind him. For that reason, the Indians head into Game 5 looking to keep their hopes alive.

Player of the Game: F.Hernandez - CG, 4-hit shutout + Pence - Only RBI of game in 2nd

Why do other teams even bother showing up to face the Eagles?

Y'know, I'm not too sure myself. I think with practice they've advanced to robot levels.

Let's just say this series isn't over yet.

(3-1) Eagles vs Indians (1-3): ALCS Game 5

On their last legs, the Indians turned to Adam Wainwright (1-0, 7.50, 4 K) to stop the bleeding. As it turned out, neither he nor Eagles' starter Clayton Kershaw (3.00) were much of a factor - both were chased out by the 6th inning. Per tradition, the Eagles fired first with homers by Blake Carter and Chris Davis to take a 3-0 lead. The Indians were a little more sprightly than last night as they put up 4 runs in the 2nd via RBI basehits by Ezequiel Carrera, Jack Hannahan, Michael Brantley, and Asdrubal Cabrera. New Jersey knotted it back up at 4 as Carter singled in a run in the 3rd. Jonny Venters replaced Kershaw in the 5th after the southpaw gave up two more runs on an attempted double by Kipnis (ACab inadvertently scored after being on second following a Choo single) and a single by Shelley Duncan. NJ would not be denied of the pennant so easily - Chris Davis smashed a 2-R HR and solo homers by Longoria and catcher Zieno sent Waino packing. Frank Herrmann (97/D/E, 2.25) entered the fray and he was touched up by way of another Blake Carter dinger in the 7th. With a three-run lead, the pennant was firmly in the Eagles' grasp. What could possibly go wrong? Apparently, it was Joakim Soria once again making a mistake and nearly costing NJ the game. Part of the blame could be placed on manager Puleo as he did not go directly to closer Aroldis Chapman in the 9th and instead allowed Soria the chance to get the save. For that, Cleveland knocked in two runs to tie up the game. it was then that the fiery Cuban was brought in, only to woefully allow a walkoff double to Carlos Santana. The Tribe fans at Progressive Field went bezerk and it would seem the Indians are not going down without a fight.

Player of the Game: C.Santana - Walkoff 2B in bottom of the 9th

(3-2) Eagles vs Indians (2-3): ALCS Game 6

Similarly to Game 2 for Justin Masterson and Felix Hernandez in Game 4, a smooth night on the mound usually results in an easy win for your club. Cliff Lee showed us that tonight, and the rejuvenated Cleveland offense from two nights ago was swept under the rug. It didn't take the Eagles' typical offensive onslaught to seal the deal as Cliff Lee was in control the whole way through. Pence, who's been cooled off in the playoffs thus far, bashed a solo HR in the bottom of the 2nd. Carter, who is as hot as the sun, drove in a run an inning later. Two more tallies were added on thanks to a Brandon Phillips single in the 4th. Carter picked up his second RBI due to a sacrifice fly in the 7th off of reliever Nick Hagadone (96/D/C). That was all she wrote as Cliff kept the Indians on lockdown. They put up a good fight, but in the end, the Eagles are more determined and stacked than most teams. New Jersey is World Series-bound.
