I'd say so! In My Life (I was a shortstop of the Rays), Joba Chamberlain had less then a 1 ERA as a starter and the triple crown! I upped his stamina to high Cs (which it should be, he pitched 2 innings a lot which warrents d and he was a starter in the minors and was planned to start next year). Its annoying how long it takes to raise stamina (its unrealistic as their are so many transitions from relivers to starters).

With a bit of S/L, it's actually pretty easy to get BJ Upton and Hunter Pence. Offer a trade for Chris Young (CF) with money only (or your CF). As long as it's a 2 star trade you'll be OK. S/L until it's successful. Then, trade Chris Young for BJ Upton! You can get Pence by trading for Jeremy Hermida and following the same instructions.

I hate Save and Loading in Season Mode though because you have to redo games (unless your in the off-season). This is why I wish you could do more then one trade at a time (so I don't have to reload in the play-offs).

he's too good.
but that's actually not much of a robbery, though you did get the better deal.
What are Murphy's stats?

On topic...
(I made the Cain trade because he is "unlucky" and was 1-5 on the year)
Giants get
-Dice-K
-Cueto
Reds get
-Chamberlain

This makes my starting rotation  :) 8)
-King Felix
-J. Lackey
-T. Lincecum
-C. Hamels
-Dice-K

Kind of off topic
Over 2 seasons the Mariners have this for a lineup...
-C. Jones
-A. Jones
-K. Fukudome
-Ichiro
-Griffey Jr.
[Then they picked up Vlad during the off-season]
(and the rest of the team)

@ sparkplug

did you sign Hideo Nomo? If so then you might be able to trade him to get Chamberlain back :) (with some S/L)

I love joba too much, I wouldn't trade him haha. Still, its actually not that great of a trade as the Giants might have been overburdened by salary, but if not, it was a steal. They must have needed relivers more then starters haha.

Yes, and I only did the trade because I had so much cap room, and I needed a great #5 starter...

I understand haha, he is better then Joba in the game. I just love Joba and Mariano so much that I could never trade them.

BJ Ryan for Jason Bay

I had to trade Ryan, he screwed me over to many times in MyLife I have a bitter taste to him. Oh and his 9700 salary wasn't hard to part with either!

I think that's a good deal, mainly because of salary. Its by no means a complete steal though.

Jesus Flores

Nationals get:
Andy LaRoche
5k points
