Looks like you'll have all-stars at every spot, except maybe center and left, a decent front-end to the rotation and good relievers. Are you going to put the CPU on "powerful"?

Your team looks good on paper, but that doesn't always translate to the game, and it appears you have absolutely no depth.

I'd predict about 85 wins with what you have now.

The team you have is way too good, how you do will probably depend on wether you simulate or play the games.

Your pitching seems like you'd need at least 1 more pitcher with the low total stamina you have. I like to have 12 pitchers and 13 fielders personally.

would my team be more reasonable if i changed the fielders to this? I want to be overpowered. just a team that will barely get the wild card

I think it's fine as is, the fatigue will balance out the overpowering skill.

On one hand, I see your point - a 5 man rotation where no one has good recovery simply will not work. Realistically, he'll need a 6-man rotation.

However, you can get a good pitcher in the draft, and if you're willing to park your players in a resting mode for practice, a 6 man rotation works pretty well. Plus, since all MLB teams are in that kind of predicament, I don't see fatigue balancing it out.

I'd say Braun should take all his position players and drop their contact level to E or F. Dropping outfielder defense to D all-around will allow opponent doubles. Dropping 2b arm to E will reduce double-plays, and dropping SS range and arm to D will hurt the defense a lot! I probably would leave the SS as you did - EE?CCC because I find level Ds in a SS frustrating.

I like that your 3b doesn't start off with a super-strong arm, but a level C defense seems high for a 3b. E is probably a better start.

I dont* want to be overpowered.

just to clarify i dont plan on playing the games, just simming through them and acting as a manager by substituting fielders, pinch hitters, pitchers etc. also ill be turning player improvement off.

Do you have the game run in fast mode and pause when you're team or the other team is in scoring position? The alternative is that you sit through a regular speed game watching the computer do everything? Frankly, I'd rather just watch TV! To each his own!

I'm actually working on a secret project (one other person here knows it) and am planning a similar run to this. I've got most of the 32 players for the team done already. So far, the team is fast and can field well, and has a lot of breaking pitches, while not having particularly great pitch speed or power. I have a few relievers in the 95-98 range, but most of the starters, with the exception of the probable #6, are below 94, with one at 86. But all 6 of the starters so far have at least 114 stamina, with two of them in the A range.

watching cpu at regular speed. and then making changes as i see fit. but yes your right to each their own. thats why i was wondering if my team was too good for what i was planning on doing.

I don't see how the team is overpowered at all, it seems very even to me.
