Has anyone had any luck getting anything other than a swing man?

I've done 6 teams now through 4 seasons each, and every pitcher I draft is a 'swing man'.

I'm sure it doesn't matter much, it's just one of those annoying little things.

do you mean stat wise, or the green "skill" in others?

When you see their stats in the lineup mode - they either closer, starter, reliever, or swing man.

None of the regular players have swing man that I've seen, but every rookie I've ever drafted is a swing man.

OH! I know what you mean! Yes, they are all Swing Men b/c they are rookies, and because they are coming into the Majors, it's up to you to decide what you want them to become.

So, how do you convert them? I couldn't figure out how to do it, and it'd be nice if they were starters instead of swing men.... they'd last into the game longer...

You just put them in the starting rotation. That's it.
