I play season mode on the hardest possible settings in the game. It's hard enough to win a game when all of my pitchers aren't purple-faced. Is it possible to stop "mood" from making a difference in performance? I'm 7.5 Games back in the AL East and I'm a bit desperate at this point.

Handicap, it's the last option in the settings menu. You give everyone (the CPU too) Best mood (the dancing Pink face) and everyone will be running in top form.

Personally I'd put everyone at the yellow face (Normal) so no player gets boosts from mood.

I agree, I wish we could set everyone to yellow face also. I may give it a shot at the pink face, but then everyone might be a little too good.

I'm having trouble finding said option.

I go to System>Options but I can't find it anywhere...

I'm not sure you have this option in season mode. If you do, I think you have to chose the setting at the beginning of the game.

Darn, if I can't change it that'll really put a damper on season mode for me. Doesn't look like I can win the Wild Card at this rate.

I've managed to climb 1.5 games above the Red Sox, 20 games above .500 just before the break :)
