Posting:

* Individual players should be in their own thread, with the full name of the player and position(s) in the title. Don't add superlatives or any other shout outs to it... we will see your guys...
* If you post a team or a set of players, add players by editing your starting post so they're all in the same post. A bump to announce the edit is appropriate.
* Posting images are fine, provided they are small in dimension and data. 800x600 and ~50Kb should be the biggest you can post inline (using the [IMG] tag), anything larger, post a link or a clickable thumbnail instead.
* If you have wiki rights, add your player(s) and team(s) there as well!

After finally getting the crazy Gyroball arc down with a couple of non S/L test players, I set out to create a semi-serious pitcher with some S/Ling. I wasn't sure how high I could go with the insane amount of dating required, so I set my goals low - a crafty lefty with deceptive pop on his fastball (think Kenny Rogers + Gyro). It looked like I was headed there, as I was still at 77mph at the end of Year 1, but after the dating was over the guy started picking up stats nicely, and I wound up with a power lefty with a rather mediocre arsenal.

Stuff you won't get from picture:
B/T: L/L ; Team, #: Yankees, #51
Form: Paul Byrd
Appearance: Pale skin and round eyes, Manny's hair style + circle beard

I still see a lot of room for improvement, because for this player:
  • No Goodjob
  • No Good Sense
  • Didn't start gambling till Xmas, after getting GR as a present
  • Didn't reload for ability REs
  • Wasted some turns (eating dogs, curing insomnia etc)

Enjoy.

Nice Player! My first gyroballer used Paul Byrd's form as well. My biggest problem is that I am usually finished with my B/C characters about February and the points set and eat a hole in your pocket. They just call to you, use me, use me, use me! At least for pitchers, the points can be used to make marginal hitters.

Very Nice Odawli, especially considering the lack of Good Job. With so few PS2'ers here, its great to have someone who can consistently churn out quality players for the PS2 (nice job with all the tags on the wiki by the way).
