Everybody needs time to learn!

I will be the hitting coach. Make him Yusef Komunyakaa. He is really mean, and has a lot of energy, and likes to make the team run...a lot.

Ok MrLiamcar, are you sure you don't want to be scout though? Because I see that you have Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2011, and there aren't many people out there who have it. Just wondering?

When my meeting was over, I looked up a few more things on the three applicants' resumes and then left for home. When I got home it was 7 PM and there was a delicious dinner of fried chicken waiting on the table for me. After I ate, I went up to my bed and got my laptop and looked up some information on who else to hire. I decided to give a man by the name of Peter Smith a call. I thought that I could possibly give him a head scout offer. Peter accepted. Then, I called a former MLB knuckleballer named Tim Wakefield. I decided to hire him as well as a scout. Then I called up a man by the name of Cooper Thompson who I thought could be a good pitching coach. Cooper played a couple years of baseball in an Indy league and coached a couple years as pitching coach for an Indy league team. He accepted as well. Then, I started looking for good hitting coaches, I found a supposed very good Russain hitting coach, named Yusef Komunyakaa. I decided to call him up and ask him to take over as hitting coach, he said he'd love it and couldn't wait for the season to start. All that took til midnight and I was exhuasted.

I woke up on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I told my wife that we could  go on a trip as a family to Tokyo and stay in a hotel for Christmas and she said she agreed. With the kids being home schooled now, since we are in Japan, we will have much more time to do fun things as a family. I had also made up my mind that I would go to the Swallows vs. Giants game 1 of the series to do some scouting on the teams. The game would be on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, I would go to then game 2 of the Fighters vs. Lions series to do some scouting. I had really gotten into the NPB since I received that one life-changing phone call from Mr. Ryozo Kato.

I had also received a phone call from Mr. Kato saying that the expansion draft would be on Fridaym January 6, 2012. I guess I have plenty of time to get ready for that.

I woke up at 7:00 AM, and on my garage driveway was the local newspaper, The Sapporo Sun. I read it and this was the main article, bye Kyoudai Onohue.

American GM in Japan!
Today, it was announced by the Sapporo Bears, the new expansion team in the NPB, that owner Ryo Sakamoto has hired an American GM. The new GM, is named William Nathan. This name might sound familiar to some of the mid 50s to 60s adults. Will was the pitcher who dominated Japan back in the LLWS in 1992. Yes, Will Nathan will be GMing for the Sapporo Bears this coming baseball season. Also, we can't wait for the NPB play-offs to start. They begin on Friday the 29th with the Yomiuri Giants against the Tokyo Yakult Swallows and the Hokkaido Nippon Ham-Fighters against the Chunichi Dragons. Play ball! -Kyoudai Onohue

Today was finally the 29th of October and I'd get to go to the Swallows vs. Giants game. It was a very close and interesting game, the Swallows ended up winning 3-2 to take game 1. During the game, I sat next to a man that looked to be about 27-28. He was very friendly, seemed to know a lot about the NPB, and (not being racist) he was American. I talked to him and found out his name was Trevor Royal. He seemed to know who was who in the NPB and told me about hos trading strategies. I decided to give him the job as trade adviser, instantly knowing he was the guy for the job.
