In my opinion the mets are the best baseball team and yes I do respect your honest opinion on which team is the best as long as you respect mine |

For me I'd have to put the Cubs in the top spot. Not even sure the Mets will make playoffs unless they get fully healthy, dominant seasons from their ideal starting rotation. If that happens they could win 100 games. Their defense will still be very suspect tho. It works well for the Mets that the East has no other team that is clearly better than them, but at the same time I would not be surprised if the Marlins, Phils, Mets or Nats won the division. In all of MLB, I think my top 4 teams are --in no particular order-- Cubs, Red Sox, Indians, Dodgers. I'd be surprised if those teams miss the playoffs, and not surprised if most other teams make the playoffs. Teams I do not expect to contend: Padres, Brewers, A's, Rays |

rangers better jk actually yeah I'd agree with dusty and say the Cubs are #1 (I mean...) although I can't say anything past that since I haven't really been keeping up with free agency as well as I usually do. Mets definitely have a lot of talent, especially that rotation if everyone gets healthy and pitches like they have in the past, but that's a big if. |

The Mets are not better than the Nats. They'll be a Wild Card at best. What we did see is a healthy Noah Syndeegard and that is nice. He's been the best I'd say. If the pitching works, I like it. I like their approach of a good amount of HRs and very, very great pitching staff. They do need a better bullpen, but they should contend for the Wild Card, but is not 100% of getting that either. |
