Post subject:  Poll of the Day #280 | What holiday(s) do you celebrate?
And if you celebrate Christmas or another gift-giving holiday, what'd you get? And what'd you give, if anything?

I personally just celebrate Christmas. I didn't get as many presents this year as I have in the past, but that's not a problem as my family's had a few unexpected bumps along the way this year and I didn't exactly ask for a lot either.

My favorite gift that I received is the Teenage Engineering PO-16 synthesizer (mostly to play around and see if I'd like to get some of their other products, it came pretty cheap). I also got a bunch of clothes (some cool socks and underwear, a pair of IU basketball shorts, and my parents promised to buy me an IU long-sleeve shirt when we're up there in a week or so), a pair of waterproof Timberland boots (deadass), some baseball cards (one pack in my stocking + the full Topps Update set coming in a few days), $30 in iTunes gift cards, and a few other stocking stuffers.

I also gave gifts to both of my parents, as well as my best friend from high school (kinda). I got my mom $10 gift cards to both The Container Store and Jo-Ann Fabrics, and I got my dad a word-a-day calendar (it's tradition, I've given him that gift every year for as long as I can remember). I went with my best friend to a Mac Miller concert and my early birthday/holiday (he's Jewish, but I think he celebrates Christmas too?) present was to pay for his ticket and our parking pass for the night.

As a child, I always went to a synagogue. SO I stilll celebrate Hanukhah, even though I am Christian. I celebrete Christian because my Christ and Saviour was born.
I finally also celebrate Other because of the First day of the year called, New Year's Day.
I don't celebrate Kwanzaa, I am not black and don't know what it's for so yeah.
I also have some old Jewish friends who parents are both Christian and Jewish. And then they get spanish Three King's Day, which is cancer because they get years of December presents.
Other than that, well that's all.
Anyway I will celebrate 2016's forum awards.

I'm a super strong atheist but Xmas is what we grew up with
But no religious stuff involved at all. Nice wooden star on the tree

I've never been to church except for weddings and funerals.
But, we celebrate Christmas in my fam.
Not my favorite holiday.
That would be thanksgiving, followed by Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, because baseball goes all out on those holidays.
Watermelon and short shorts and baseball on the radio. I love summer.
