I never really paid attention to recovery for starters but i tried and mine don't seem to be able to pitch their next game 4 days after they started. I also noticed if the starter goes more than 6 2/3 innings or is almost about to faint on the mound they can't pitch 4 days later. I want them to get as many starts as possible. Should i just use a 6th starter, or is it that their stamina is too low and they get tired to quick?

My solution has always been to use a six-man rotation, so that's what I suggest.

Yeah, six man rotation for the Hornets, they usually can recover to close or full bars of stamina 5 days after their first start.

Recovery 4 is the best way to help, 6th starters also help.

I have to use a 6 man rotation, too. I tried to go with a 5 man rotation and it was an absolute disaster. I also rest my starters for 2-3 days after they pitch.

A good strategy that I have found for this is to use the 6-man rotation at first, but put the starting pitchers ONLY in Rest Training with the hot dog power-up, and then slowly work your way back to a 5-man rotation. However, only do this if your SPs are at a place where they don't need much training except for experience gained through games.
