This is so good.

That's more or less how I always pictured the bionic arm to look like too. Very nicely done Zumi. :D

Player Update

April 1st, 2015 11:15 AM, Mark's Place

Brian was slipping and the players had to act fast. Mark hooked him up to his bionic arm.

MARK: Alright, I'll only need four of you for backup. Chris, Pablo, Paul and Wildthing, grab my arm.

They all grabbed his left arm.

MARK: My bionic arm, you idiots. Why would you grab my normal arm?

PABLO: You want our honest answer, Mark?

MARK: Of course!

PABLO: Quite frankly, your bionic arm is akin to Frankenstein's monster in that it not only should be destroyed, but it should never have been invented.

MARK: What are you trying to say guys?

PAUL: Touching that thing makes me wanna kill myself and you're a robot monster.

MARK: Geez, tell me how you really feel guys. Look we're losing time! Just grab it!

The players grabbed Mark's monstrosity and Mark typed in a few things that put them to sleep. Their minds were now one with Brian's

CHRIS: So this is Brian's mind, huh? It looks just like a child's bedroom.

MARK: Because, these are all his best memories, mostly comprising of his childhood.

PAUL: Hey, how'd he get this picture of my mom?!

They passed a door that said Do Not Enter.

WILDTHING: Do you guys think this means Brian is surpressing some memories.

MARK: Nevermind all that guys! We have to find some way to wake him up.

After they got outside Brian's memories, the rest of the brain looked exactly how it did in pictures you saw at the doctor's office. They could also see the rest of the inside of his head.

CHRIS: Hey there are his eyes! Maybe if we can somehow open them from the inside, he'll wake up!

WILDTHING: Hey guys I found these pogo sticks! Maybe if we start jumping around on them, he'll know how much fun we're having without him and wake up!

The players were still pretty high so they went with WildThing's idea. Except for none of them really knew how to use a pogo stick correctly. They all fell over and out of Brian's head, when they woke up on the couch next to Brian who was still sleeping.

MARK: Hmm.. I think we could've gone about that better somehow.

PABLO: I'm not going back in there.

JOHN: His eyes just cartoonishly bulged out of his head before you guys woke up, if that helps.

Mark proceeded to perform emergency surgery on Brian with his bionic arm and it was a success.

PABLO: Wow, Mark! Nice job!

MARK: Yeah he should wake up in another hour or two.

PAUL: Sorry for all that stuff we said about your arm. We now see how resourceful it can be and how it really doesn't matter what someone looks like on the outside, but it's what's inside that matters.

MARK: Really? You guys only learned that lesson now?

Just then Mark received a call on his bionic arm and he put it on speaker.

MARK: This is Mark.

PEPPER: Prior! Where've you been?! You have 15 minutes to get down to the stadium for the pep rally. Bring the other players!

Pepper hung up.

MARK: Brian won't be awake for another hour!

CHRIS: Looks like we'll have to go all "Weekend at Bernie's" on this one, boyos!

They all gave a cheer.

April 1st, 2015 11:31 AM Panpaka Park

The mayor of Scranton, Christopher Doherty strolled in with many other important people from the city. Doherty was looking a little less corrupt and a lot more shaken up than usual.

DOHERTY: Hey, Pepper. Is this the new GM?

BRYN: The name's Bryn Wilder. Nice to meet you Mr. Mayor.

DOHERTY: Look, I'm going to be frank with you.

MARK: I thought your name was Christopher sir.

DOHERTY: Son of a--Mark!

PEPPER: I told you boys to be here in 15 minutes...16 minutes ago! TWENTY PUSH-UPS FOR EACH SECOND YOU WERE LATE!

WILDTHING: But that's like... 120 push-ups. And I'm like.. 50.

PEPPER: It's 1,200 push-ups and you're 49, so shut the *(censored)* up.

DOHERTY: As I was saying!... This baseball team being sent to California was a godsend! You coming back here is a pain in this city's ass and a big hole in its pocket. Fighting bankruptcy will be even more difficult now. If I have anything to say on the matter, your days here are numbered... Especially yours Prior!

The Mayor left in a huff.

MARK: What the hell's he got against me?

PEPPER: Nevermind that! What the hell's wrong with Wilson?

John and Pablo fumbled to try and move Brian's lips and talk for him all while holding him and keeping his sunglasses on.

JOHN: Oh, uh... Nothing Mr. Manager! Just a little tired! Good thing John and Pablo are so strong!

PEPPER: Oh for Christ sakes, men! We have less than 36 hours until opening day and you all need to pull yourselves together before than!

The pep rally was, of course, a *(censored)* disaster on every possible level. However, it was by far the best public event the Stranglers had been involved in in years.

The End

in the next update

Mark goes to the old Scranton library to investigate while the team prepares for their first game back in Scranton.

that was waay back in 2011 so they had a great regular season, actually. Plus they always have the best fireworks after games.
