On the verge of buying a new pc and it's been years since I played AQ2, was considering starting playing again, but after a bit of looking around, it seems to be well and truely dead 
Anyone still play? Specificially, anyone who remembers me... and are there are UK clans still around? |

While the scene shows less lifesigns than half a year ago it is still very much alive, just in a smaller sense. And yes, people who don't remember you are also a part of the scene, just get on the servers and buckle down!

there's still a few clans around and people still play public, don't know much about UK players though. only one I've heard was uk was that legacy guy who was cheating or something...
there's also some eu aq2league going on still I think.

Been doing a load of bullshit life stuff!  Hurray for someone I remember though! Where's everyone gone!? 
I've been without a real PC for years but finally decided it's time to go back to the old days (the good ones) 
In the process of building a monster PC, but never been interested in fancy graphics... and the only FPS that ever had TRUE skill/gameplay to me was AQ2.
If AQ2 is too quiet to consistently get games though, what should I be playing?!... and please don't say css  |

You should buy: Call of duty: Modern warfare 2. Its kinda fast paced if you are a "tank" like me. Get in get out, U know, taking out the garbage:p you can hook up with me and stan0x and so on. We are maybe 10 aq2ers which plays it:) in the same clan.

Well we are at #clan.fubar @ quakenet. Yeah we all play it on pc.

I'm missing the old aq2 days too, sadly I have no chance of playing it where I'm at, bloody argentinians, they only play CoD4 and they suck at it.
