2v2 Ladder rules

BASE RULES
Chilean ladder will use these settings:

Each team can pick a homemap from the ladder map pool:
- Ladder competition lasts for a season which is 10 gameweeks. It starts on 3.10.2022 and ends on 18.12.2022. The week between 21. and 27.11.2022 the ladder will have a break from mandatory play, however matches can still be played freely.
- Teams can join the ladder before the season starts or during the first 5 gameweeks of the current season. However a team needs to play a minimum of 5 matches in order to be ranked in the final standings.
- Teams must sign up with exactly 2 players.
- A player can only play for one team.
- Each player is obligated to use the latest version of AQtion. We highly recommend the Steam version of it in the long run, as it will integrate with new features, but standalone is just fine.
- Each team's captain(s) is responsible:
- to use the ladder bot,
- to communicate and arrange matches with opponents,
- of behaviour of his team.
- Each team starts with 1000 ELO points. Points are gained or lost depending on the outcome of the matches.
- Match outcome is determined on the sum of rounds won; win/loss or draw is the possible outcome.
- Each gameweek lasts from Monday to Sunday.
- Each team has to play at least 1 match per gameweek. If they fail to play a match in a gameweek they are awarded 30 points decay. If a team is not challenged but challenges at least two teams and fails to play a match, that team will not be penalized via points decay.
- Matches are being played 2 versus 2.
- Before the match starts each team picks a homemap they will play. Match is 2 maps 15 minutes each.
- Not showing up to play a scheduled match, walkovers or mid-match forfeits are awarded with 120 points decay.
- Champion will be crowned at the end of the season and will hold the title until the next season is finished.
- Players are allowed to change teams (transfer/trade).
- To make an official request for a transfer open a ticket in #create-ticket
- When a player switches teams, that player can't participate in ladder matches during that current gameweek, but can start playing in the next gameweek.
- If a player has made a switch to another team, he can't switch teams for 2 weeks.
- If a team recruits a player that was not in any team beforehand, he can play in the same gameweek.
- Match servers must be played on official ladder-sanctioned and approved servers.
- Server has to have MVD recording enabled and demos available to download.
- Match is preferably played on one server. If teams can't agree on one server, 1 map on each team's server is also an option.
